The hotel is modern and has a beautiful design, however, they really need to improve their service and hire more professional staff. We arrived at the hotel around 10 PM and were checked into a room that was already occupied, we opened the door to someone else’s room. The front desk staff apologized and gave us keys to another room. After turning on the shower in that room, the ceiling started to leak. After speaking with the front desk again and waiting, we were checked into a third room. It was a two-queen bed room and there were three of us. One of the beds was not fresh, it was missing the top sheet and was clearly used, with yellow stains and hair everywhere. The shower was also dirty. We called the front desk again and were told there was nothing they could do because no housekeeping was available that late, so we were expected to sleep in the dirty bed.
We were told a manager would call us in the morning, but no one did. The next morning, we had to ask again for the bedding to be changed. We were offered free breakfast, which we had already paid for at the time of booking, and free parking. However, it would have been much nicer to simply receive a clean, safe, and unoccupied room after a long drive. The staff needs to work more on problem-solving rather than just offering free parking. Leaving a 2 star for the great location and design.

Was going to give four stars then when had more problems with toilet in my room I've dropped it to three! If it wasn't for the room only costing $114.99 per night (with a last minute booking) I would have only given them two stars! For a brand new hotel there should not be this many issues...
Problems:
-Whistling sound through hallway and under door during high winds
-Toilet in my room and my kids room did not work good. After my son removed the tank lid it worked fine because the flush handle wasn't adjusted correctly to work with tank lid on.
-Bathroom door (sliding barn style) in my room was to small to cover wall opening.
-Key cards only allow you onto your own floor... When staying with family who are on different floor get one of their room keys or you won't be able to even knock on their door!
No free breakfast however restaurant on the sixth floor has excellent food
Positives:
-Very comfortable bed
-All outlets in room have USB-A and C-power
-Starbucks coffee bar in lobby
-Very nice bathroom with walk in shower & spray wand in shower.
-Snack bar in lobby open 24 hours.

Great location. Great location. Downtown is walkable, and you can also take a trolley. There are a few glitches. However, the staff and hotel are both new and everybody's getting their footing. We were disappointed when we went to the restaurant and the altitude. And tried to order breakfast from the menu and was told, no. We had to eat off the buffet which ended up being very cold. However, a bartender at the evening was very good and we enjoyed our drinks and sitting and relaxing. The space is absolutely beautiful. The elevators were a little cantankerous but not to serious. Staff was very helpful with information and resolution when we had problems. HVAC in room was loud a d they came i haven't fixed it immediately. They checked on us via text which was outstanding. While this is higher end for Gatlinburg we recommend staying here.
