  Hotel Indigo delivered one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we stepped inside, there was an immediate sense of intention and care. Check-in was effortless, and Ken, the manager, set the tone for the entire stay with genuine warmth and professionalism. It didn’t feel transactional it felt welcoming. That distinction matters. What sets this property apart is how thoughtfully it blends convenience with experience. Its downtown location allowed us to park the car and simply live in the city no circling blocks for parking, no stress, just the freedom to explore on foot. That alone elevated the stay. Altitude Rooftop is truly the crown jewel. By night, the skyline glows in a way that feels cinematic; by day, the mountains stretch across the horizon with clarity and calm. The atmosphere strikes a rare balance energetic yet comfortable. The food was impressive, the drinks well-crafted, and the ambiance inviting rather than overwhelming. The large dance floor and music added vibrancy, while the seating remained cozy enough to linger. Every staff member we encountered carried the same attentiveness and kindness, which made the experience feel cohesive and intentional. Even in a short stay, the details stood out. The security of key-card-only floor access created a real sense of safety. The pool, illuminated against the night skyline, felt almost luxurious and the spacious outdoor seating and mini putt-putt added playful charm. The brand-new laundry system is a small but meaningful touch for longer-term guests, showing that the hotel considers practicality alongside aesthetics. The rooms themselves were spotless and modern, with a bathroom design that felt fresh and elevated. Our city view was breathtaking, the kind that makes you pause for a moment longer before closing the curtains. Overall, Hotel Indigo doesn’t just provide accommodation, it curates an experience. The service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and location don’t just meet expectations; they exceed them. It sets a new standard for what a downtown stay should feel like, and it’s a place I would return to without hesitation.

  Tammy was amazing at the front desk! Also every morning my fiancé went down to the coffee shop in the lobby and they will make you a customized coffee. The rooms were amazing! The only thing I wish they had for the bathrooms would be a fan but that’s a minor thing. The hotel is beautiful, I would stay again for sure!

  Reserved a room for my husbands get away for his birthday. First time ever staying with this hotel and will absolutely stay again it will be our go to hotel in gatlinburg. Tammy at the front desk was absolutely phenomenal!!!! She is definitely the best asset to the hotel. Never have I stayed somewhere that after two days and only speaking face to face at check in did the front desk remember my first name. We received texts making sure we were enjoying our stay and if I needed anything at all was responded to very quickly by her. I can not say enough good things about her. The room itself was awesome the beds were so comfortable and clean the shower was so nice and even though I had packed essentials everything I needed was in the room besides my tooth brush and hair brush. The view was phenomenal. Especially at night. We had city view and I requested the balcony. The balcony had top notch furniture and there was a plexiglass cover over it so even though it was raining we could sit outside without getting drenched and enjoy the view. The plexiglass gave us cover without feeling confined it was amazing. Can’t wait to stay again!!! We almost extended our stay but alas work was calling so back to reality. We had breakfast the first morning at the restaurant on rooftop. Marina was our server she was also terrific. My breakfast was good and filling. The food is a bit pricey but definitely a good choice if you don’t want to eat downtown.

  Tammy at the front desk helped me make sure our room was the perfect room for our family. She went above and beyond to help us with everything from the room placement, type of room and even our breakfast! The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful as well. Our room was clean and spacious with lots of light and all the amenities we needed. The restaurant upstairs is open and airy with a beautiful view. They are still working out a few kinks up there but I’m sure that will happen very soon. The hotel hasn’t been open very long and the staff is working hard to make things perfect. We would definitely come stay again! Great hotel with great staff!

  Stayed for a mid week pre valentine's trip with my wife. We hit the Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge area at least 5x a year staying at different places. This spot is perfect to be walking distance to almost everything in downtown Gatlinburg. Though the hotel is new and looks great, and the staff are wonderful there were a few things I wasn't a big fan of. The room we had was a balcony room with a king size bed. The angles were a bit odd as the vanity in the bathroom and wall didn't meet up. This was strictly a cosmetic thing and subject to personal perspectives. The bed was a bit on the stiff side and provided pillows(2) for each, were paper thin and my head sunk right to the bed. The rooms acoustics were blah as we could hear our neighbors conversation at normal levels like they were standing next to us. The pillows and acoustics were the reason for my lower score. Honestly had these been better it wouldn't have been a lower overall rating. We got it at a discounted rate with some app rewards points. I'll end on a good note and say that the view of downtown from our room was great and if it was summer or early fall would be cool. The restaurant and bar prices were a bit high so we didnt go so I can't speak to those.
