We have been staying here at this location for years. We just stayed here this spring and now again this fall. Upon arrival this fall we were hit with a 15.00 a day parking charge (surprise). The free parking was one benefit that kept us coming back to this location since it is right downtown. The internet was very spotty, couldn't make it through 30 minutes of a movie without it freezing up. Not the fault of Hampton, but instead of getting woke up by a rooster you'll get startled awake by a trash truck at 0500 that sounds like a bomb. We have always had a pleasant experience with the staff. Also the fact they allow fur babies is great. It is 75.00 of course. The room was clean except for the carpet. So due to the 50.00 additional parking fee (main reason), spotty internet, and wake up noise. we will not be back to this location. We'll come visit Gatlinburg from afar and pay for parking the one day we come visit.

The hotel’s location on the Gatlinburg strip is very convenient, providing easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. However, the property is dated and would benefit from some updates. Noise carries easily through the walls, and sounds from the parking lot echo throughout the night. The bathroom is quite small, with limited counter space, and the faucet placement makes the sink awkward to use. Overall, while the stay was adequate, the experience did not feel worth the price

The location here was fantastic, being right on the strip. The staff was friendly and accommodating for my service animal and I. The breakfast was good. The accessible room, while nice, did not have nearly the accommodations needed for those with a disability. (No shower chair or removable shower head, everything normal height)
My only complaint, aside from the accessibility of the room, was the ridiculous $25 a day parking fee.

Love staying at the Hampton on the Parkway in Gatlinburg because they have Creekside rooms (which cost more) and lots of great restaurants are walkable...like The Peddler. It's also very close to the park entrance. The rooms are a bit tight. Can feel crowded, but I love the Creekside private balconies. There are often ducks and geese playing in the creek.
