I understand you are doing renovations, but some of these problems are easily fixable without them. If I were the manager, I'd be ashamed to charge full price for a room that's dirtier than many $80/ night hotels I've stayed at. The good: Front desk staff was super nice. It was his second day, but seemed to know what was going on. Easy access to 65 and Columbia. Breakfast was on par for a holiday inn The bad: Holy mold, batman. If there was caulk, there was mold. The ceiling in the bathroom was staring to show mold, and it looks like they already had one patch of ceiling replaced. The tile was loose. Not enough to come off, but enough to trip. The carpets had stains on them The wall was patched, presumably from a prior guest, but had not been repainted, and the patch job looked like something I (am amateur) would do. The doors and furniture were mostly fine although some spots definitely showed a lot of wear and tear Also, apparently the auto on the ac was broken. Not a big deal for this time of year, but just a show of the lack of maintenance
