My husband and I have stayed in this Holiday Inn several times over the past four years as we would come to visit my father-in-law every few months. He passed away this week and we had to rush down to Columbia. Sam and Arun took very good care of us and were understanding about our situation. 11 out of 10 stars. Great service, great people.

Had a perfect stay here. A bit pricey. But clean large rooms. Hot breakfast was really good. I would bring the hole family here.

Accommodations are always good. Breakfast was a little less than normal, but it was Veterans day and fewer people stayed the night.

Easy on and off of I65. Rooms definitely need some updating and fixing up a bit, looks like renovations were started. The lobby and breakfast area are nice. Of course we love the cinnamon rolls. This is the only HIE weve stayed at thst had no hot chocolate or coffee creamer.

In short: don't go here
The staff was good, but the rooms were awful. I understand you are doing renovations, but some of these problems are easily fixable without them. If I were the manager, I'd be ashamed to charge full price for a room that's dirtier than many $80/ night hotels I've stayed at.
The good:
Front desk staff was super nice. It was his second day, but seemed to know what was going on.
Easy access to 65 and Columbia.
Breakfast was on par for a holiday inn
The bad:
Holy mold, batman. If there was caulk, there was mold. The ceiling in the bathroom was staring to show mold, and it looks like they already had one patch of ceiling replaced.
The tile was loose. Not enough to come off, but enough to trip.
The carpets had stains on them
The wall was patched, presumably from a prior guest, but had not been repainted, and the patch job looked like something I (am amateur) would do.
The doors and furniture were mostly fine although some spots definitely showed a lot of wear and tear
Also, apparently the auto on the ac was broken. Not a big deal for this time of year, but just a show of the lack of maintenance
