For those who want to explore more off the beaten trail, check out the "Devil's Triangle," a rustic & rural winding road trip through the Cumberlands, and make your way over to visit Brushy Mountain in the process. Cumberland Gap National Historical Park is only a 30-minute drive to our north, and it's the famous "passageway west" that was used by early frontiersmen.

- LHLiam House2 days ago3.0i was passing through the area, when a huge snowstorm blew through. my squatted straight piped pickup truck stopped working in the snow, and i was worried that my decal stickers and LED tire rim lights would break. so i parked at this hotel and decided to spend the night. turns out i had to spend more than just the night, i spent a WEEK cooped up in there waiting for the blizzard to pass. over the week that i spent in holiday inn, i got to know the staff really well. we played board games, and i ended up getting engaged to the woman who worked at the front desk. im going to get married to her soon, we plan to get married at the holiday in. can't wait for the wedding, will update.

- NNNoahJan 25, 20264.0We had to spend the night due to the giant snow and ice storm. We arrived around 6pm and was greeted with a nice clean room with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was alright, considering lots of stores and places were empty or closed due to snow, so we were glad to have a warm breakfast. The only bad thing was that there was a weird smell in the elevators. It wasn't anything I could think of to describe it, but it smelled unlike any other elevator I've smelled. Other than that, it was an amazing stop with plenty of fast food options nearby.
