What a wonderful stay. 5/5 would recommend.
I was recommended to stay here by someone I know, who also enjoyed their stay here.
There was a very nice lady at the front desk during check-in. I was also recognized as an IHG member. This is either a hit or a miss at other hotels. Then I got nervous. I previously worked at hotels, and once I realized my room was right behind the elevator, I was not pleased. When I was in the business, those were the rooms that were assigned very last. However, I never heard the elevator once throughout the stay. The only thing I heard was the occasional door shutting in the morning. I was so relieved to sleep throughout the night and not have the elevator be an issue.
The room and bathroom was very clean. The only con that I would have would be the sink in the bathroom. It’s so close to the counter and made washing hands annoying. Not the hotel's fault, probably just a brand design.
I didn’t take advantage of the restaurant, bar, or other amenities on-site, but I would the next time if I ever came back.
I also had another wonderful experience when checking out with another nice, friendly lady at the front desk.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience staying here, and I was so glad to get a restful night’s sleep.

Horrible customer service. Wouldn’t connect me to my husbands room even though i had his full name! They wouldn’t even go check and ask him! Just demanded his room number very humiliating when you have a family emergency happening! Do better! He travels a lot and I can’t remember every room number! Don’t stay here the call was disgustingly unwelcoming
*** update I spoke to my husband and they didn’t even let him know I called for him! They didn’t even have the courtesy to tell him anyone was calling for him! He will be speaking to the manager this afternoon! That was not appropriate front desk behavior! Bet I have his room number now and I better get connected from now on!
Third update. I call the next day with his room number and they transfer me to an empty room that rang and rang. I got ahold of him on his cell and he said it didn’t ring. So he used his buddies phone to call her on speaker and she acted like I hadn’t justtttt called! Ridiculous shady behavior! Allegedly sending maintenance to check on phone now ha.

This location is their original and appears to be in great shape. Friendly front desk woman. They do charge $50 just in case. There is a brand spanking new Holiday Inn Express right next door to this one. Same price. I also received a coupon for a free breakfast. They have a restaurant and bar onsite. There is an indoor pool and fitness room.

Avoid this place. I recently stayed here for a night on a trip with friends. It was a horrible experience from the start. There were cigarettes littering the ground by the entrance and the front desk staff didn’t care. When getting to the room, it smelled like mold. When checking the bed, we noticed a bed bug. The entire place seemed dirty and we ended up leaving.

Was charged the smoking fee because they claimed they couldn’t check someone into our room after we checked out. We did not smoke in the room yet they were adamant that we did. It was me, my sister and a seven year old. She went downstairs twice to smoke during our one night stay. It didn’t matter what I said over the phone - they are adamant that we smoked in there. We did not.
I do not understand how they can just charge people smoking fee like this, with no evidence of smoking. I’m beyond pissed off and as many times as I go through Clarksville, TN I will NEVER stay here again.
The manager Curtis and the assistant manager Jessica are both worthless “managers” and clearly do not care to listen to their guests. What a joke! Stay away from this place cause they’ll charge you fees for NOTHING.
