Great staff. Very pleasant and courteous. I just checked in and headed up to my room. Upon exiting the elevator—the most powerful unpleasant moldy/mildewy odor hit me. This has got to be a hazard for employees. It is hard to breathe walking down the hallway. Someone from corporate has to act on this ASAP. The odor is near toxic!

This was an awful experience. We walked into the room and it smelled like a wet dog. We had 2 queen beds and the fitted sheets kept coming off. Turns out the beds had full size sheets on the queen bed. As the fitted sheets came off it uncovered filthy mattresses. One looked like it had been vomited on and the other looked someone had been wiping a snotty nose on the mattress. Thinking this place should be reported as a health hazard. The floor was filthy. Then construction noises went on until I went to the desk to complain at 9pm. Others were complaining as well. The hotel manager should be fired because they’re not doing their job. The housekeeping staff are clearly not doing their job. This place is not typical of Hiltons. This place deserves zero stars. It’s terrible, filthy, disgusting and very poorly managed. I believe I should get a refund for this stay as was just a very bad stay.

Very disappointed with my stay recently. This past weekend was my homecoming at Austin Peay, and excited to attend, me and my friends booked here. We checked in at about 3:40pm, got our key and went to the room and immediately came back down with our bags due to a smoke smell in the room. The smell did not smell that someone might have smoked a cigarette in there recently but smelled like someone JUST smoked in there and left their cigarette burning. The towels smelled like cigarette smoke, the bathroom smelled like it, it was so strong. At this point it’s about 3:50, We come down to ask if there is anyway we can get the room cleaned and we’re informed housekeeping was gone for the day. We then asked if there was another room we could check into and they told us everyone had already checked in for the night (basically saying we were the last room to check in). We then asked to speak to a manager but was informed that there was no one on the premises. At this point we are at a loss because it is a big weekend and everywhere is booked and to change hotels the night of would have been expensive. We ask the front desk receptionist what they would suggest we do and was told to “go to Walmart and buy a candle”. After coming up short from finding something else, we chose to stay. The front desk receptionists (both of them) were so rude to us. Continued to make faces to each other, shrugging and rolling their eyes. Next day as we are getting coffee from the lobby we learned that they had changed our reservation to check out a day early (which was changed by the manager who was not there when we checked in and still wasn’t there?) without telling us? Super unprofessional, very disrespectful. Felt very uneasy staying there, so even when we realized someone had changed our reservation (even though we paid for 2 nights) we chose to check out anyway because at this point, we were not being valued as guest, and the way the first two receptionist treated us, made us feel very uncomfortable staying there. Through the whole initial interaction there was another employee there who heard the whole exchange and confirmed our whole story when finally speaking to someone who cared about helping us. If zero stars could be left, I would. Save your money!

We checked in and checked out almost immediately. As soon as we stepped into the elevator to go to the 3rd floor, we were hit with an overpowering stench. When we got off, it looked like there had been serious plumbing issues, the ceiling was torn apart and showed brown water damage. The entire hallway smelled like a mix of mold, urine, and sweaty feet. It was AWFUL! Inside our room, the strong air freshener smell was clearly an attempt to cover up odors. My son used the bathroom, and it was obvious it hadn’t been properly cleaned, there were hairs on the floor and even on a folded towel on the bathtub. At that point, we decided we were not staying. After going back down to the lobby, I also noticed water damage toward the top of the ceiling there as well. It was late, but we left and booked another Hilton property instead. I wish there was an option to upload the videos I recorded, as they clearly show the condition we encountered. But, unfortunately, not the stench. Very disappointing experience. Not at all what I would expect from a Hilton brand hotel.

Booked a one night stay with my significant other as we are currently traveling through KY and TN. Saw the 4 stars and the fact that it is a Hilton owned hotel, I was sold without reading the reviews (huge mistake, I know). Parking lot is a little suspicious because more than half of the lights were blown out, so be sure to take any belongings in or keep out of sight. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a sign that says “excuse our mess due to renovations” okay, no problem. However, it is VERY apparent that this hotel was neglected for YEARS. Every where you look it is either dirty, broken or rusted! The halls are filled with grime and the doors to the rooms are gross with stains and chips. Our room was just as dirty, the carpet is discolored, food in between the bed and behind the head board that is CAKED with dust. The AC smelled like mildew and the furniture was lifting up which is a sign of moisture in the air. Our shower/bathroom had a urine smell to it and we had little fruit flies appearing throughout our stay. I just had surgery so I was looking forward to relaxing my bones in the hot tub, yeah no. That had maybe 5 inches of water in it with gray and black mold floaties in it. Honestly extremely disappointed in this “Hilton” hotel
