Having to pay to park at a hotel is absolutely ridiculous. The breakfast was awful. TV constantly lost signal.

Check in was bad because their credit card processing was having issues. The front desk employees seemed overwhelmed and did not understand how to triage. Im on a cane and stood for what seemed like twenty minutes on my 1 good leg until I finally had to ask them if the other girl who was sorting out, ink pens worked here. At that point, they stopped ignoring me and checked me in. I felt bad for these two young people behind the desk because they seemed to mean well, but they just didn't seem to have adequate training to understand how to deal with the situation. ( I did explain to them that they could have at least looked at me and told me that it was gonna be a minute because they're fixing another problem... but they had two computers, and one of them is working fine. This was noticed because they waited on 4 other people while I stood there)
Then, our room was nice, but the bathtub did not drain, which makes extremely slippery when you're trying to take a shower on one leg. The shower curtains were not properly mounted. So the water constantly goes to the floor.. Making the floor very slippery and meaning we didn't have any dry towels left. ( The water literally ran all the way out into the hallway) The pool was decent and reasonably warm. The location of the hotel is fabulous. The breakfast was mediocre (continually burnt) but they had a big crowd and the guy working breakfast was genuinely trying very hard. We ordered food which never arrived, so we ordered from another place, and they only sent half the order, but they did charge us $105. For the room, I paid $279 pr night, and they do have a sneaky trick parking that cost extra, which they did wave the fee for us. For this price, I honestly would have expected way more... if I would have paid $89 my review would be saying that this hotel is a great value. Will I stay again? I think so. Chattanooga is a great place, and the employees here did try their hardest. I really wish I could give them higher stars, because they really were nice people... but I figure I need to be fair. If you're coming here, expecting a functioning, clean Holiday Inn, you might not be satisfied.

Honestly this place does not look like the pictures it advertised. I was super let down and surprised at how crappy this place is comparatively to how it looks in the photos. The room is tiny and outdated. The pool is disgusting and was the only reason I even booked this hotel. Also you have to pay 14 dollars to park for one day. I would recommend going with another hotel. Holiday inn is not how I remembered it and I would not recommend. The front desk lady was nice but that’s about it and that doesn’t make up for the disappointment I’ve experienced.

Superhero Front Desk Staff! We stayed at your hotel March 17th to see Mamma Mia at the Soldiers & Sailors Auditorium (the hotel is perfectly located for that). In our room after the show we found that my daughter's ring had gotten bent. It wouldn't come off and her finger was becoming numb. Tried soap, ice, heat but nothing was working. Worried we might have to visit an ER we asked front desk staff member for help. She was able to locate a pair of pliers to break the ring off my daughter's finger. And she didn't even laugh at us for the silliness of our situation. Every interaction we had with your staff was pleasant and helpful. We felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable. The breakfast tasty. The location convenient. We'll stay again.

I spent two nights here as a solo traveller. The front desk staff were very helpful when I came before the check-in time at 3:00. They even helped me get checked in early to one of the first rooms available. I am so very grateful for that.
The location is very close to the downtown area. You are right next to the highway and a major road so there is some ambient noise in the background. It is a very short walk or an even shorter ride. I used Uber and Lyft while there and they had no problem locating me at the Inn.
Overall an excellent experience. And much more affordable than other places to stay in the center of downtown.
