The floor was dirty with hair on the bathroom floor, very disappointed, there was so so much dust on the table, not very happy with the cleanliness of this place.

BEWARE OF EXTRA NIGHT CHARGE!!!
My son had a flat tire on I-24 in November so I booked him a room, arriving at around midnight. Because it was late, he asked for a late checkout. He checked out by noon (had an appointment for a new tire) and the clerk said receipt would be emailed. No receipt emailed to me (only the initial confirmation). Then I find when my credit card bill came, they charged an extra night ($150). Emailed, no response. I called, they said they would "look into it and get back to me within 5 business days", no response. Called my credit card company to fight it; the hotel said they had no record of him checking out. This is just wrong! Stay away or you may be cheated as well.

My fiancé and I decided to take a short vacation to Chattanooga, Tennessee. We came across Holiday Inn express Chattanooga. We checked into our room, upon getting ready for bed. We noticed there was a bed bug at the bottom of our sheets. We immediately called down to front desk. To let them know of the situation. The front desk attendance immediately changed us to another room. We decided to give things another try considering we had driven miles to get here and didn’t want to drive back so late. After settling in our new room the shower wouldn’t work, we’ve then called again down to the front desk. The attendance came up and tried to help assist with getting the shower to work with no success! We were then moved to another room, by this time we were so exhausted and tired. We got some rest by 3am before check out time. Hope this helps PLEASE take a moment to double check your beds and showers at this hotel. IN OTHER WORDS DON’T COME HERE ITS HORRIBLE!!!!!!

We stay in holiday inn hotels frequently and this one fell a little short on expectations. The staff were all super nice and helpful but the carts to haul luggage are terrible for families. If you have several pieces of luggage and bags, get two carts (if they have 2 available). The pool was ice cold. Like not heated at all. My son was dying to swim and when I got in I was like nope. This is an ice bath not a pool. The elevator situation is... Terrifying to say the least. One of them is out of order and the other one feels like you might plummet to your death at any time. There's a sign that talks about no jumping on the elevator and fines will occur if you do so not sure if that's been a problem or if someone were to jump on the elevator it would snap the cables. It's seriously scary and I never felt comfortable taking it.
We ate breakfast on our first day but regretted it. The cheese omelette was sans cheese. I opened one up and not a drop of cheese was found. The pancake machine was also out of order and the potatoes didn't look edible so I passed on them. Our last night there we decided to go to the cracker barrel for breakfast next door instead.

Not recommended! Stay at your own risk as another reviewer said. We should have read the reviews ahead of time. We travel all over the world and this was the worst guest experience we have had at a hotel in a long, long time.
We arrived at the hotel late (around 1:00 am) weary from the road and ready to get some rest. After getting to our room, we discovered the room was not ready - some maintenance work was being done in the bathroom. We went back down to the desk and almost got stuck in the elevator - the door only partially opened so we had to push it open to get out. We were checked into a different room. When we got to that room, it was discovered that the mixer to turn the shower on was missing. We tried to call the desk utilizing the room telephone but it was not operational. We trudged back down to the desk using the stairs. This time, the gal assisting us went to check on a room for us and it was discovered that room had an entrance door that did not shut all the way/lock. So, she found a fourth room that was suitable to sleep in.
These rooms are all in need of a refresh…ripped blinds, items in disrepair. The playful “Not Ready Yet” Do Not Disturb door sign was more like a warning from the room itself versus the other way around. We felt bad for the gal assisting us because she was very friendly and tried to help us the best she could.
We should have gotten a refund and moved on to another hotel but we didn’t because of the late hour and all the time invested - our mistake.
We tried to talk to a manager before we left but none was available. The same gal was there. She said she credited us 1,000 bonus points but told us we would have to call back if we wanted to talk to a manager.
For added frustration, the telephone number on the GM’s business card contained too many digits and the telephone number for the hotel direct on the website was incorrect.
We eventually talked to the Front Office Manager later the same day as we were told that the AGM wouldn’t be in for a couple days and the GM was on vacation until the following week.
The Front Office Manager offered no apology and thought our experience was fine/successful/a good outcome because we ended up in a room “with no defect” that we could sleep in. He said there was nothing more he could do in his position but verify the bonus points were credited - which we do not really even care about.
Holiday Inn is one of the brands we look to when traveling as they are usually constantly clean, fair priced and provide quality service. This stay was disappointing to say the least.
