Its a standard hotel. I wouldn't pay more than $120 but $15 to park on their lot is stupid. First and last time I'm staying here for that alone.

I am loyal to this hotel chain and specifically book with them every time I travel for work or vacation. Haven’t had many bad experiences, but this hotel was not a good experience. Stayed for 2 nights. Was notified by letter slid under the door that some maintenance was being conducted and no water would be available for a few hours. Came back after a day in downtown and still didn’t have water. The next morning, there was water, but it was cold. Didn’t even was my hair because it was too cold to bare. The rooms and halls are extremely dated and give the Disney haunted mansion vibe. The elevator was so old and noisy. My daughter was actually terrified that we’d get stuck. Parking cost was ridiculous and have never had to pay for parking at a holiday inn hotel. Definitely a massive turn off. The parking lot was on site! That hotel was not like a normal holiday inn. Grungy. The only good thing was that the breakfast cinnamon rolls were warm. At checkout, I was asked how my stay was. I didn’t intend on mentioning any of my experience because I know it was a 1 off. She kinda twisted my arm so I mentioned the cold water situation. She apologized and refunded 1 night for me. That was nice…until I realized the stay was paid for by my boss!! 🫠 At least he got a deal. I’m currently in a holiday inn hotel in Asheville and it’s one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at so far. It’ll be tough for me to stay in any other hotel because I love them so much and I won’t let a bad experience spoil all the good. I still appreciate everyone that I’ve interacted with over the years, wherever I may have been. I love holiday inn!!

Was here for a 1 night stay for a soccer tournament. The beds and room itself were comfy but the black lady at the front desk was hella rude. I spoke when I checked in she said nothing. I spoke checking out, still nothing and she just stares like you shouldn’t be there. If you don’t want to speak maybe hospitality jobs aren’t for you! Checkout was 11am but I got an extension to 12, cleaning ppl barged into my room at 8:30 and again at 9:45. Didn’t knock, didn’t say room service or anything all I heard was “oops!”. Thankfully I had the top lock on the door both times. They need to do better. Won’t choose this particular hotel again.
