  I spent two nights here as a solo traveller. The front desk staff were very helpful when I came before the check-in time at 3:00. They even helped me get checked in early to one of the first rooms available. I am so very grateful for that. The location is very close to the downtown area. You are right next to the highway and a major road so there is some ambient noise in the background. It is a very short walk or an even shorter ride. I used Uber and Lyft while there and they had no problem locating me at the Inn. Overall an excellent experience. And much more affordable than other places to stay in the center of downtown.

  The furnace/AC in our room was so loud we couldn’t even use it and sleep with earplugs in, so we just had to sleep with no heat. The refrigerator in the room was also very loud, but fortunately it wasn’t so loud that I couldn’t sleep even with earplugs like the furnace was. The blackout shade lacked about 8 inches of fully going down so it was pretty much useless. I brought all of this to the attention of the staff. They said they would send someone up to fix the furnace and never did. We ended up moving down to hotel BO Which had a better location, Better rooms without loud appliances, and was significantly cheaper.

  This hotel was more than enough to make our trip to Chattanooga with my wife truly memorable. The room was clean, spacious for two people, and the breakfast was excellent. Most of all, the sunrise we saw right in front of the hotel was an unforgettable and breathtaking sight. Lastly, I would like to thank the staff for kindly accommodating our request to change from a road-facing room.

  This review plays no bearing on the staff as they were great and informative. I met with two hosts and both were polite and helpful. I was a bit taken aback at the quality, condition, and sanitation of the upgraded suite we stayed in. Even if it was only for a night. I decided to treat my other half by making a pitstop on our long journey. And let her soak in a tub for the night and rest up. Only to be left feeling like we had entered a hazardous room that was well quite gross. And smelled just unkept. I’ve been an IGH member for years and was quite let down by this experience.
