  Hold up! You should really consider staying here! Not only was the room very clean and comfortable, I experienced a rare kindness from the staff. I have difficulty with my mobility due to a car accident several years ago. After a long evening of fundraising for our nonprofit, I was struggling walking with my cane. I made it to the lobby and the attendant saw my struggle. He kindly offered to carry my luggage and gave me his hand to help stabilize me. Because of him I was able to make it to the elevator. This small act of kindness stuck me all night.

  This hotel is in its 'second owner faze' and showing light wear, but clean. I have generally had very good experiences staying here, but a few things bothered me this time. Scrambled eggs are not supposed to be runny, the bathtub should not be a slip hazard when remodeled, the heat control for the hot water shouldn't change mid shower, and the hair dryer should not be coated with caked-on hair spray. On the bright side; the location is great, the rooms are clean and the coffee is hot!

  We stopped for one night. The room we stayed in had burnt or blood marks all over the carpet and shades. Tub doesn't drain properly.The toilet seat was falling off . Front desk said they would send someone else up but never did. Room 311 needs some major work. This hotel needs to do a better job cleaning and renovation is much needed.

  I always look at reviews to make sure we stay in safe, clean, and comfortable hotels when travelling and when reviewing the reviews for this property, they all were great - all commenting on the cleanliness and immaculate state of the property.  However, it appears that these may either be fake reviews or that actual reviews are being deleted, because all we could find was filthy, disgusting conditions everywhere.  The curtains and walls were smeared with an unknown substance, the areas by the nightstands were clearly not vacuumed, the bedding had dirt in some areas, there was feces outside of the property for several days that was tracked into the hotel and into the elevator and stairs and no one cleaned that up for days either.  There were old coffee stains at the front desk, and you could see that the carpets were full of dirt and hadn't been vacuumed in many days.  This is absolutely hands down the nastiest hotel we have ever stayed at and did not complain, because we already paid full price and relocating to another dirty room was not going to help the situation.  This was an absolute waste of money and ruined our stay in Nashville.

  Horrible experience and never got out of the lobby. Made our reservations weeks ago. Drove four hours to Franklin only to find out that our reservations were apparently cancelled two weeks ago. No notification. Apparently this Holiday Inn was turning away one guest after another because they had waaaay overbooked. Done with Holiday Inn. If you book a room at this hotel, you'd better call ahead to make sure you'll actually have a room when you get here.
