Stayed here for about 5 weeks for work. Very nice and comfortable hotel. They have breakfast, and on Wednesdays they have an evening snack time with free beer. Breakfast here is different, normal bagels and waffles but they also put out fresh make to you like burritos. And for the heart healthy fresh yogurt. The rooms have full kitchen/fridges separate living area with TV along with pullout beds. We have enjoyed staying here and would 100% return. They say they are going to do a remodel, but im not sure what they are updating as the room are not outdated.rooms come with an actual air/heat not window units. Also in the quad they have a sitting area with grill pits, pool, and a workout room. Its not cheap/ not overpriced, but if you want a room with the extras, and maybe want some moving around room this is the place.

RESPONSE TO HOTEL: can you please give me a detailed description of how you handled your employee hanging up on me? I complained to the main Hilton line and they said that the GM would be in touch with me about this incredibly rude behavior and I got nothing. Also, my understanding, is that a maid “walked out” on the job… not that the storm was impacting your staffing levels. Sounds like a management issue that you’re conveniently blaming on the storm. Also, your Google review page is filed with similar issues NOT during the storm. How do you explain that? The front desk staff need some serious customer service training. We tried to check in at 4pm after being out of power for 3 days during the winter storm. Our room wasn’t ready— no apology and they wouldn’t give us an ETA on when it would be ready. We kept checking in every 30 minutes just to be told “nope, not ready yet” with no updates or information. When I finally went up there crying and told them I was pregnant and felt awful, our room magically became ready within 2 minutes. I had called Hilton customer services to get help during this period and they told me since our room was not ready on time, our first night would be comped. When we got the bill, it wasn’t comped. I called the local hotel to work it with them and explained everything. The front desk person was incredibly rude and told me they were very busy that day because of the storm and were short a maid (ok, well I still couldn’t check in for 2 hours past when I paid for). I explained it was a hard time on us too being without power. I told her I’d call the main customer service to get help and asked for her name at which point, she hung up on me. Insanely rude, especially for a hospitality company. Also, our room wasn’t clean when we got in there and there was a nasty foo stain on the carpet

First of all this hotel is in desperate need of deep cleaning and an update. We chose it bc it is close to our home and we weren't sure we could make it anywhere else because of the ice on the roads. Our room wasn't super clean, the cabinet in the kitchen wasn't attached to the hinges and fell off anytime you opened it, half of the outlets didn’t work, corners were all dirty and peeling and the furniture is heavily worn. But worst of all - while most hotels were offering deeply discounted rates for families displaced from the recent storms - this hotel was charging a premium. We tried with no success to call to book directly but finally just booked online through the HH website, as we could not stay in our house another night. We paid a very high rate (even as a HH member) for a very dumpy room. We moved to a different Hilton as soon as we could. They greeted us with cold waters, gave us a displacement rate, which was a significant savings for families like ours who have been without power and water for multiple days with no real end in sight. We contacted customer service at Homewood after we left, to see if they would consider any adjustments based on the circumstances and to inquire if they had any displacement rates or discounts that we somehow missed, and they basically said rates are based on "supply and demand" which feels a bit like price gouging during a disaster because they were certainly busy given the situation in Nashville.

Hotel is a bit tired but the staff is great and the location for my purpose. It is reasonable, clean and that's good enough.
