Price is amazing. Hopefully the renovation is completed and much needed improvements, but it was clean and good stuff.

I had scheduled a two night stay. This location has a 48 hour cancellation policy. Due to a medical emergency in my family I needed to cancel within a 24 hour window. However this location did not answer. I tried to reach them 10 times over an hour and half time frame. I understand paying a penalty. This location charged for one full night stay. Which given the circumstances I feel is outrageous. I was only able to cancel by contacting the Hilton Honors customer service team. Had I not been a Honors member I would not have been able to cancel at all and would have had to pay for both nights. The Hilton Honors team tried 8 times to reach the location. So over 18 phone calls over a three hour period and no one answered. That makes it an easy money grab and extremely poor customer service and experience. I have been a loyal Hilton and Hampton Inn customer for over twenty years. I have never looked at reviews prior to this because I have never had any problems and always had pretty good experiences. But based on today’s experience, that will change. And based on the reviews I just read on this location tells me I should have reviewed them before making my reservation. So much for brand standards being a benchmark.

Last minute reservation and one I’ll regret forever. The only positive for this hotel is its proximity to Nashville. Besides that, there’s nothing good to write about. It’s a hotel that has seen better days and any “renovation” is just putting lipstick on a pig. Outdated…musty…over dependence on Febreze…HVAC unit in room barely worked and was quite loud. I could go on and on. I don’t recommend this hotel for any reason.

The rooms desperately are in need of a refresh, but a clean, comfortable hotel. I would prefer something a bit more modern, however. FF&E is from the 90s.
