This is our go to place when passing thru Nashville. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is delicious. The hotel is 2 minutes from the highway so is very convenient!

The hallways are so heavy with perfume it made me sick. I will not stay here again for this reason alone. The room we had was a king suite and was very large. It looked like a one bedroom apartment. The couch was very hard and the TV small. There was a full size oven but it was really old and I don’t know if it worked. No dishes or any kind of kitchen ware. There was a small refrigerator, microwave and kitchen sink. The bed was average, not the best mattress, but I slept OK. There is no elevator. The room was clean. The half door on the shower allows so water to spray across the bathroom floor even before you enter the shower. The breakfast was average, not the best free breakfast we have had, but adequate. The location is very good. This hotel is a good value for the price if you can deal with the heavy perfume

It was overall an okay stay. The fragrance in the corridor was a bit overwhelming. There were blood stains on the bedsheets. But the staff were friendly.
We sadly left an item in the room and when we called back, they said they didn’t find anything/ threw it away. It would have left a better impression on us if the housekeeper had returned the item or for front desk to notify us.

🔔 Do NOT do Business with this Hotel 🔔
On Monday, January 26th during the historic ice storm that is still crippling Nashville, my family and I attempted to secure lodging at this hotel after being without power for almost 48 hours. The hotel was accepting reservations online. Before risking our lives and our young children's lives on the ice, we attempted calling the hotel multiple times to confirm they were open. No one answered. We called again. No answer...for hours. We called guest relations at corporate who told us the hotel must have lost power and they would start a ticket for our case. Our family endured another night in 30 degree temperatures without lodging. The next day, we were informed by guest relations that they had reached out to this hotel franchise on our behalf to request a refund. The franchise owner refused stating "they had power" and were following their no refund policy. We called the hotel directly and attempted to secure a refund since their hotel was NON operational on Monday without a working phone or confirmation of power. They refused.
In a time when the rest of Nashville is coming together as a community to support one another, this hotel franchise owner chose to NOT do the right thing and took advantage of their own failure to function effectively as a hotel. Instead of doing what's right, they were greedy. Not only did our family have to risk another night in freezing temperatures, we had to then worry about a hotel taking advantage of our family during a crises. The irony in all of this is that a hotel is supposed to be a place of shelter in time of need, and they were anything but the definition of a good neighbor. Our out of town family who visit multiple times a year will never do business with this hotel again. We are quite frankly appalled at the behavior of the franchise owner of this hotel not owning up to their own failure as a hotel and refusing to give back what they had taken. The franchise owner was given the opportunity to make this situation right multiple times by multiple people including my family and Best Western corporate. We rarely write negative reviews, but this behavior should be shared with the community so that they won't have to share a similar experience as our family.
Corporate office has been made aware of this franchise owner's behavior.
