Water went out, room smelt bad, mold in room and in hallway, bathroom sub floor is failing and has floor rot under plank flooring, shower was horrible, water pressure was terrible, sofa bed is a brick and no one could sit or sleep on the sofa bed, the suite was not cleaned daily, we were in the room in the evening and maintenance, just came in without knocking by using master key, the main hallway door to the outside was not secured, anyone could enter the building, the lobby breakfast area was dirty, microwave always dirty with oatmeal crusted inside it for several days, the beds were not comfortable as they were old and springs and low spots in mattresses, we checked out one day early at 9:43 am, the attendant told me she couldn’t check me out until the next day and was not able to give me a receipt until the next day. I asked for some sort of compensation which was not given. I simply left. I will never stay at this place again, being in Brentwood, I expected a much better room and or experience however I felt I was at a low class roach coach motel! I would have moved hotels but there were not any available elsewhere. Do not stay here, it was represented as a better hotel in Brentwood but once there it was similar to a dive hotel. Just checking in this hotel and already want to leave. I never do this but if the experience requires it has to be done. From outside and the review it seems nice but the rooms are outdated, there is NO ELEVATORS and most I was assigned a room right on the level of the entrance lights that are gonna be on all night.
I kindly asked if I could be move to another room and I was told without even trying to find a solution that all the rooms were booked…on TUESDAY NIGHT IN APRIL…sure 😒
Very disappointing!

If you have any issues with chemical scents, do not go here. The amount of chemical air fresheners they use is crazy. It gave me an immediate reaction.
I thought it was going to be a nice room, living area with a fireplace and dining area. We'll it had all that and someone's toe nails on the are of the couch. They put in a different room...not as nice the lock on the acces door was open? I hope locks at a certain time. The other building was locked. The room I'm in now seems clean. If I didn't per pay I would go somewhere else.

This place doesn't just have hidden fees; they have a deliberate trap set for guests who book through third parties. The rate you see online is a lie. They will wait until you are tired, bags in hand, at the front desk to spring a $100 "incidentals" charge on you; a fee that is mentioned NOWHERE in their official online policies or on your booking confirmation.
Their only disclosure is a pathetic little sign on the counter, a flimsy excuse for a business practice that is fundamentally dishonest, and likely illegal. When I demanded an explanation, the staff admitted it's a penalty they charge because they don't trust Expedia to pay them. Let that sink in: their business problems with a booking site are being solved by picking your pocket.
Now, don't let them fool you with the "it's just a hold, sir" nonsense. They claim it's held "in case the 3rd party didn't pay" and that it will eventually be released. Eventually. That means your $100 is held hostage, unusable by you, for however many days it takes for their lazy accounting department to release the hold and for your bank to process it. It's not a fee, it's a financial shackle they put on you for their own incompetence.
They create a no-win scenario for you. You've already paid for the room through a non-refundable booking. Your only choice is to either hand over access to $100 of your money or walk away and lose the money for a room you won't even get to use. This isn't a "hold"; it's a hostage fee, and they are banking on you being too trapped to fight back.
This hotel operates with a stunning lack of integrity. Their business model is apparently built on deception and cornering customers. Do yourself a favor and give your money to an establishment that doesn't see you as a mark to be scammed. The management here is either incompetent for not fixing their issues with booking sites, or they are just plain dishonest for passing the cost onto unsuspecting guests. Either way, this place is a cesspool of bad faith. Avoid it like the plague.
For clarification, I've filed notices with the City of Brentwood and the State of Tennessee about these dishonest business practices. Businesses have to be held accountable.
UPDATE: The hotel's response to this review was the exact same generic, copy-pasted message they post to all negative feedback. They offered no specific comment on the undisclosed $100 hold, no apology for the deceptive practice, and no acknowledgment of the issue. This canned, non-response is the ultimate proof of their lack of accountability and perfectly illustrates the dismissive, dishonest attitude that defines this establishment.
