  Comfortable and clean room. Free breakfast. Convenient, but a little loud since you are right next to the airport.

  I give this property a solid 3 stars because the staff was great. The room not so much. There were flying beetles, spider, toilet filthy down the front of it, and the shower door would not close. I was so tired that I told myself don't worry about the bugs and go to sleep. There was not much I could do. I would not stay again.

  This is definitely the bare-bones of Hilton. Cheap enough for anyone to stay. Like a motel six only modern. The rooms were very clean. I didn’t have any breakfast so I’m not sure what that was like, but it seemed well attended by people. It’s nice to have the pool table and the games in the lobby. Coffee was always ready. A nice selection of snacks to get you by in case it snows and everything closed down. The primary issue is the staff. The staff talks to the staff. They don’t talk to the guests. In my three days there two staff said something to me on my way in or way out. In fact, I turned my key in on my last day and staff was busy talking to staff so I just left my key. Brandon, the housekeeper was extremely friendly. And if he’s in charge of the fourth floor, cleaning, he’s doing a fantastic job. Two luggage hauling carts is insufficient for a hotel of this size. There were none to use on my day out, so I made four trips to the fourth floor. And there were no carts coming in and out of the hotel during that time. I just know that there are two cards because they were there the other two days I was at the hotel. If you’re looking for a cheap bare-bones, stay then do this. It was quiet. But you have several other upscale options in the same vicinity That are known for their hospitality.

  Modern, new, immaculate, friendly, beautiful hotel! Located directly across the street from Knoxville McGhee Tyson Airport. Complimentary airport shuttle service every 20 minutes. Efficient, professional and very friendly staff!! This was my first visit to this hotel property and my first Tru Hotel experience. I was totally impressed! Tru, being a Hilton Hotel brand property, provides all the amenities I have been spoiled with as a Hilton Honors member. For the first time ever, I checked in and selected my hotel guestroom using the Hilton Honors app. As a non-technical person, I was impressed with how easy and efficient this process was. The hotel facilities are modern with a lively, color decor. My guestroom, as well as all the common areas are immaculate! The hotel has four floors, and includes large registration/lobby conversation space. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. Snacks, beverages and convenience items available for purchase in the lobby. Although I don't play pool, for those who do, a pool table is located adjacent the registration area. My guestroom was quiet and comfortable. Guestroom amenities included comfortable bedding, workspace desk, mini refrigerator, walk-in glass shower and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but several restaurants are close. Ruby Tuesday is located directly next door. Again, I'm totally impressed with this Tru Hotel in Alcoa, Tennessee. Perfect one night stay experience; excellent staff associates, beautiful immaculate facilities and great value!! I look forward to my next visit to this hotel!!

  Our stay here turned out fine because the guy at the front desk was awesome, but I am annoyed about how it started out. We were on a long trip with several different hotel stays, I contacted each hotel at least a week out to confirm that we would have a pack n play for our baby and each confirmed and indicated it would be in the room when we got there. I am a Hilton silver member so when I checked in to our other hotels on the app I received a text asking if there was anything we needed—I never received one from this hotel. When we arrived there was no pack n play. Too be fair, the other hotels also failed to have it in our room on arrival, not a big deal. But when we asked we were told they only had 2 and they had already been claimed. The guy ended up pulling one out of another room because he confirmed we had asked for it well in advance and the other people hadn’t arrived. I do feel bad for the other family, though. I hope their baby was old enough that they could sleep in their bed or make up a pallet on the floor or something. There’s at least 84 rooms in this hotel, I’m guessing more, only 2 pack n plays is crazy.
