A very nice, clean hotel that seems to be recently renovated. The rooms were super clean and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and truly worked hard to make it a great stay. If anyone is traveling with a dog, be aware there is almost nowhere to potty the dog anywhere on the property. There’s a small patch of grass next to the BK we were able to use, but don’t expect a ton of space especially for bigger dogs

This hotel is located in Regina's south end, and is not immediately visible from the road. It is situated adjacent to a residential community and several other businesses. It is an older building, and parking is somewhat difficult out front due to lack of space. Initial impressions were affected by an area out front that did not impress (see photo); an empty bench needed to be cleared and cleaned.
The staff at checkin were extremely helpful and professional, and housekeeping staff always greeted guests in the halls.
Room 328 was clean and spacious, and the suite had two bedrooms. One bedroom only had a dresser, television and bed (no side tables) but it was sufficient. The fridge was large and very useful (available in most Holiday Inns) and the coffeemaker made excellent coffee. The rooms were clean and the washroom was spacious with plenty of counter space. The bath tub required a reno but was clean.
The breakfast area was well stocked and managed, and the pool looked inviting. Our stay was quiet and checkin and checkout were seamless.
The hotel requires an upgrade to doors, bath tubs and other trim areas as it looks tired.

I had a very negative experience at this hotel. I had already checked out and left Regina when I realized I’d forgotten my phone charger. I went back to the hotel and saw that the cleaner had already started cleaning. I asked her if she’d found the tip I had left for her. She said no, which confused me. When I asked how that was possible, she told me that her housekeeping manager had entered the room before she did. She explained that she didn’t mind if her manager took the money, because people from her country struggle to find work and she was just grateful to have a job at this hotel.
I was outraged. What the heck! I had left that money specifically for the person who had been cleaning my room for several days. Not for her manager. These workers come here with their families, trying to escape poverty. They work incredibly hard and still face this kind of unfair treatment. It’s unacceptable.
I took out my wallet and gave her more money, but I still feel uneasy knowing that my original tip was essentially taken without permission. I chose to leave that tip for a specific person, and it’s wrong that someone else decided otherwise.
Because of this, I do not recommend leaving a tip at this hotel.
