  Called their number to book room arrive and they tell me I've booked through 3rd party can't tell me price of room asked for discount because pool and hot tub not working. So couldn't because booked through 3rd party .good bye Bestwestern.

  Very nice clean hotel. Good price for the night. I had a single room with kitchenette and king size bed. The room and bathroom were very spacious. There were grab bars in the tub which was great! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast that was included was very good with lots of selection.

  This is a one-star review for management—honestly, I would give zero if I could. I booked a block of rooms for our U11 carded hockey team, and initially, everything seemed great. Cheryl was pleasant to deal with, offered us a reduced rate, and even allowed us to use the conference room until 11 p.m. both nights. I felt confident I had made a good choice for our team. Fast forward to two days before the tournament: I received an email saying the pool was under construction. This clearly seemed like a planned closure, and it’s hard to believe this wasn’t known at the time of booking. While we were told we could cancel, it was far too late to find another hotel block for a full team, which I’m sure she was well aware of. Then things got worse. A parent had called to ask about using the conference room for mini sticks—something that may have been assumed, but also a reasonable ask given the pool was unavailable and kids need some downtime activities. After that call, Cheryl contacted me and was extremely rude and confrontational. She revoked our access to the conference room entirely and informed us we would need to sign a code of conduct upon check-in. Her assumptions that we were going to be a huge disruption to the guests at her hotel made me feel incredibly unwelcome and uneasy about the whole thing. Our families were travelling 7-8 hours and I was nervous she was going to find some reason to deny rooms because at this point, nothing would have surprised me. At that point, a few families—including mine—decided to switch to the Canalta, and I am so glad we did. This team is made up of kids from several small Saskatchewan towns, and this was one of only two tournaments they got to experience together. The hotel is a big part of that experience, and I regret trusting this booking. I feel like they missed out on the full experience, and that’s really disappointing. Learn from my mistake—skip this hotel and book at the Canalta! I felt welcomed and at home there!

  Conveniently located for a mid-journey stay. Staff tried very hard to keep everyone happy. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn't try their breakfast selection this stop; there's an A&W right next door where I grabbed coffee and breakfast on the way out. Plugs in the parking stalls for block heaters. Decent choice for an overnight stop.
