I had the worst hotel experience here. I had a hotel block in place for almost a year and the day of the event people did not have their rooms even though they had confirmation #’s or they told people the block was full which was not true and up-charged our friends and family. I called out there many of times and let the phone ring for a minute and nobody would ever answer. A funny story that wasn’t exactly funny at the time was I told my husband we’re in room 314 well he went there and the key didn’t work so he tried 315 because he thought he misheard me and the key worked so he walked in and notice how messy it was in the room and after a minute of being in there, a man woke up in the bed. Turns out my husband was in the wrong room but WHY THE HECK did his key work for that room!?! However, the room we stayed in was clean and comfy which was nice however I still had a terrible experience the few times talking to the staff and dealing with all of the headaches over the year of trying to book rooms for our event. Hopefully things take a turn in the right direction, otherwise I would not recommend doing business here.

We've stayed here a few times now and each time the employees have been great, rooms are clean and comfy. The only downside is it's near a stock yard so the smell and flies are terrible.

Had a room booked for the night. Paid in full. Confirmation number in emails. Got a call at 8PM that they decided to give the room away and we would not have a place to stay for the night. Terrible customer service and they would not give any reason as to why they gave a fully paid room away to someone else. Do not recommend

I was very disappointed in this hotel. I know it is under new management, but they have a long way to go to get up to par. The best thing they have going for them is the staff, at least the ones we met. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, even warning us about potential bad weather. When we got to our room, we saw nut shells on the floor. We couldn't get our TV to work, so we asked a housekeeper for help. She told us she was the new head of housekeeping, and apologized for the shells on the floor. She had only been on the job two weeks and seemed exhausted and overwhelmed, but was helpful and friendly. She called in a maintenance guy to help with the TV, and he was also very friendly and they got the TV to work. We never did get any local stations to monitor the incoming weather. The air conditioner in our room did not work well. It was over 100 degrees outside when we arrived, and although we set the A/C on 65, the room had to be 74 or more at its coolest. It kicked out semi-cool air once in a while, but mostly it was just the fan blowing. The beds were too soft for my liking. I did like their pillows. The breakfast was decent. I loved the coffee machine. I'm glad they have some good people working there who can hopefully improve the hotel.
