- GBglenn burmeisterNov 18, 20255.0Just want to share how happy my wife and I are staying at the Hampton Inn in Spearfish SD .We stay there when traveling from Wyoming to see family in Nebraska and Wisconsin and have been there many times.The owner and help are always very friendly ! The owner is very funny and has some wonderful history and stories ! Are rooms have always been very clean and comfortable.There breakfast has always been excellent and hot with plenty of choices and always stocked good. The location is so wonderful as right off interstate 90 and Applebees is so close you can walk to it and Walmart is behind motel if one needs . There is so much to do in the area if you have the time .There is room in parking lot to park if pulling a trailer also .

They closed down breakfast at least 30 min early, but when I came out, the staff were all eating. when I asked for an ice bag for my dirty ice bucket, they gave me a trash bag. The blinds in the room were broken, and the internal lock was loose. The light in the bathroom flickered like a horror movie. I have saved the best for the last. The chair in there. Well, it was stained horrible with a kind of human imprint. I have included pics. My sister said the pool looked good, but after all the things wrong we decided to just move to a different hotel. The chair should just be thrown out.
- DJDennis JosephOct 15, 20253.0We stayed in a first floor and it was clean but the shower area the shower head did not work right and could hardly switch it around to get pressure.The shade in our room was broken.Its a electronic one but the privacy one was laying across the window and the big private one did not work at all.It was pulled down all the way and yet at night because it was out all the way the light came thru all night long. I called and they said they would notified someone about it. I’m sorry but this is wrong.I did not rent a room for over $200 a night to have to deal with so many problems. The front desk could care less about it. Not going to stay here again. Why is it that it’s always something.
