Definitely my favorite hotel in Sioux Falls, and I have stayed at almost every one of them. Breakfast was top notch, staff was awesome, rooms were comfortably clean and spacious. Unfortunately didn’t get to use the pool but it looked nice and clean. The only thing that I would change would be the tv and the channels, they’re a little outdated but we aren’t big tv watchers anyway so it wasn’t an issue and the vending machine upstairs wasn’t working and outdated, but the downstairs ones worked great. I traveled with a 10 year old and a giant Great Dane and we loved it here. I will admit I was a bit nervous because most of the hotels around this one are pretty rough to say the least. The dude that wrote the bad reviews stating there were bed bugs, must be confused because I didn’t even see dust in our room and I am a huge snob when it comes to cleanliness especially in hotels. I also know from experience how bad reviews effect businesses, and I think it’s extremely distasteful and unappealing that someone would make such a fuss and hurt a business, especially without proof clearly because they wanted a hand out or felt entitled. Gross behavior. I’ll definitely be staying again.

Since I cannot directly reply to the response provided regarding my initial complaint, I am compelled to issue this follow-up review to ensure full clarity for prospective guests. Your attempt to address the severe issue of bed bugs by offering a "complementary stay" at your sister properties—specifically the Super 8 (3.9 rating) and Baymont (with 3.8 and 3.3 ratings)—is entirely unacceptable and demonstrates a fundamental disregard for guest well-being. No rational guest who has just experienced a bed bug infestation at a 4.0-rated establishment would consent to staying at hotels with significantly lower ratings. This offer was not a resolution; it was a transparent attempt to mitigate your liability by steering me toward an inferior property within your network. The fact remains that I sought alternative accommodation, selecting a hotel literally down the street with a comparable rating to your Best Western but had better rating in terms of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, yet you refused to honor this reasonable request. Your purported "alternative options" were clearly engineered for your financial convenience and network maintenance—not for rectifying the profound inconvenience and the waste of my time you inflicted. The proposed solution prioritized your bottom line over the immediate safety and needs of an affected customer. This non-response to a serious health issue is highly indicative of your operational priorities.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I had booked a planned weekend stay at this Best Western location this past weekend. After the first night, I woke up and found a live bed bug right on the pillow. This was an immediately distressing and repulsive discovery that ruined the entire trip. I immediately contacted the management. While they did process a refund for the single night I stayed, their response to the situation was completely inadequate and failed to show any understanding of the damages incurred. They refused to cover the cost of the replacement hotel I was forced to book for the rest of my weekend. More importantly, they did not offer any compensation for the time, stress, and inconvenience of spending my entire Saturday morning dealing with the infestation, documenting evidence, bagging all my belongings, and scrambling to find new, clean lodging. A full refund is the bare minimum, not full compensation. This hotel is clearly negligent, and management does not value their guests’ time or safety. Be warned!!

Awesome Best Western we have ever stayed at. The place was so clean and smells so clean. Oh yes the continental breakfast is Amazing and I mean they have Omelet and scramble eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles. They where serving more for breakfast then country club and its half the price to stay a night. and the staff was so friendly and very helpful with all our needs considering we had an elderly on a wheelchair along with us on the trip. From the time we called and the time we arrived at this BWestern the customer service from Nora the front desk to meeting the GM was even surprised how well they made our stay feel like we was at home. Customer service is 10☆s 👍 On behalf of My family and I, Thank you GM Zack and Nora for such an excellent customer service.

First the room smelled bad. The description of the hotel said sauna, there was only a dirty pool. They were painting the exterior so they were running a loft all day which was loud. I work nights and slee during the day. I had to ge room for 3 nights. L, after getting no sleep the first 2 days I left and had to pay for another hotel. I was not offered a refund or free night. They just said see ya later! Def don't recommend this place
