It cost more than the new cabin we stayed at where we had a full kitchen, separate living room and bedroom; but we needed a room and Hampton said all they had available was a family suite (this simply means it has a sofa in it), so we took it. I asked for a room away from elevators, stairs or entrance doors because we needed rest to get an early start driving the next day, so where do you think they put us? Yep, next to an entrance door and stairs. And if that wasn’t noisy enough, it sounded like a herd of South Dakota buffalo were in the room above us. Constant running and stomping. Our room was clean and spacious for just the two of us, plus there was a restaurant in the parking lot we could walk to, so I gave three stars for that; but this place was just too noisy for the price we had to pay.
