It wasn't until I called the front desk after checking in that I was informed the water heater wasn't working. No apologies, just an "oh yeah its been out all day." Not looking for a 5 star resort but come on!

Many of which ONLY chose this motel for the non functioning waterslide. Upon looking at recent reviews, they claimed the slide was to be addressed over three weeks ago. Any pool at any other motel with a pool in Brookings is better than this shallow, cold pool if you take the water slide out of the equation. And each one of those other motels is cheaper. The very least this motel should do is offer a discount since they falsely claim they have a waterslide.

I almost slipped and fell carrying my two-year-old son on the way to the room because we were cold and soaking wet the heater in my room did not work thank God I always bring a space heater really nice place but not kept up well I guess this is what you get when kids run the place I will never stay here again even if it was $30 a night ...
