Where to begin... I reserved a "two-room suite" so we could have the babies in one room and us adults in the other. The room was just one large room with two beds. No doors, walls, partitions, anything, dividing the rooms/beds. The room itself appeared clean, but when we walked into the bathroom, we were astonished. There was not a shower or a bathtub, just a dirty, BLUE porcelain whirlpool straight out of the 80's and full of mildew. It was disgusting. To add to the state of the bathroom, the fan was also dangling from the ceiling, rendering it loud and unusable, along with what looked like dog claw marks on the bottom of the door. Topping off the experience was the pool. It was SO COLD, there were no children in it. We went down after promising our toddler he could swim all day and it was too cold to even put our feet in. The frog slide also looked like it had gangrene. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and will be reaching out to corporate informing them of our experience and writing reviews so others are aware of the corporate greed.

We had a room over Thanksgiving weekend. We were REALLY looking forward to the hot tub, but the heater wasn't working right. Maintenance guy told us he had to drain it and refill it with hot water, which doesn't make sense to me but he said they'd fix it overnight. It still wasn't working the next morning. Also, the kids slide and water gun thing wasn't working. Lastly, our tub drain was stuck down. The staff was friendly and did try to help where they could. Breakfast was decent.

Ramkota inn is the best place to stay in Aberdeen. We had a nice clean room. Staff was very helpful and the manager Beth was great and she loved my dog diesel. Hotub and pool were great also. Highly recommend staying here.

First of all, I understand that the hotel staff aren't personally responsible for almost any of this. This is just the poor experience we had, and I know it's got to be all higher ups making the decisions that lead to this kind of disrepair.
We were here for a pool party. There was 4 other parties happening at the same time, which of course they aren't required to disclose, but it would have been nice to know when booking since there wasn't really enough chairs for that.
The pool area is really cool in theory but there are obvious signs of neglect - sloping floors, one bathroom out of order, and our main issue is that the water was FREEZING. Of the whole herd of children only three or so were in the pool at any given time because it was so uncomfortable to swim in. Adults occasionally toughed it out but mostly everyone avoided the pool. The heater was obviously broken. The one thing I can solidly say would be dependant on the day to day staff is disclosing a super cold pool to people who are booking specifically so their kids can swim. We would have gone elsewhere so they could enjoy the pool instead of kind of sadly milling about with nowhere to sit or swim and cramming into the lukewarm hot tub.
The poolside room that needed to be booked in order to have access to the sad cold pool had more clear signs of upper management neglect - the ceiling had a pretty bad leak in the bathroom that would drip onto your head when you sat on the toilet. The refrigerator was barely working, our milk went bad and our baby got really sick. NOT okay. The whole point of this was for the kids, and they were cold and ultimately sick because of the lack of upkeep.
(Multiple people did go and talk to the front desk about the cold pool and room temperature hot tub, but the answers we got were "we're working on it" and "we'll tell the maintenance guy" instead of just saying it is broken and we can't fix it today - lots of disappointed kids who were waiting hopefully for a solution)
We did have one good moment here after our baby went to sleep where we sat outside the door adjoining the pool and enjoyed nursing a lovely drink from the hotel bar and sitting quietly together. But overall this was a profoundly unimpressive experience. Sad kids, sick baby.

On the surface, this seems like a nice hotel. Unfortunately, the friendly staff and clean rooms cannot hide the hotel's disrepair.
We were there for for a kids birthday party at the pool. The pool looked like it would be pretty fun, but the heater was out of order so the water was freezing so we never got in.
Inside the room, there was a leak above the toilet. Judging by the damage to the ceiling, that leak had been there for quite a while. Also, the refrigerator in the room was on, but it was not refrigerating. We lost a half gallon of milk overnight.
The continental breakfast was mediocre at best.
The plus for this hotel is that the staff in the bar/restaurant were great. Also, the room and hallways were clean.
