  Be careful not to get a room attached to the pool. Strong chlorine smell.

  Book a lower floor king room with outside entrance. They tried to put is in a inside room near pool we have a dog they would not work. Then they put is in a queen room but no refund on down grade. Parking lot near our room was littered with frozen pop cans and they wouldn't clean it up made the out side look trashy. Was here for my uncle's funeral.

  We reserved a king, 2 months in advance, checked in and walked into a filthy queen, when we went down to the front desk and spoke with Amber the receptionist she was Extremely rude and dismissive as she told us “it’s all we had”. Which is odd because we had someone with us as a part of the conference we were attending, who didn’t have a reservation that got a king suite that same day as a walk in. The room was stained, sheets, walls, bed skirt had blood on it! The hallways smelt of old food and smoke, for a non smoking hotel that’s concerning. Overall the experience was more than disappointing and we will NOT be staying at this hotel in the future.

  Stayed here a few days for a conference. I see a recent review mentioned their room being dated and in disrepair... Mine was in great shape and seemed pretty modern. I did not think to take pictures but perhaps they are somewhere in the process of updating. By SD standards they have a lot of rooms. It was very pleasantly surprised to find an EV charging station. It was not a super fast charger by any means, but it was great to start the day with a full charge already. Especially since Aberdeen does not have many options to begin with...

  We stayed at the Best Western Ramkota during our trip through South Dakota, and overall, it was a solid experience. While the property has a bit of a vintage feel, it’s exceptionally well-maintained and clean. The staff truly provides top-notch service; we were greeted with a smile, and the check-in process was a breeze. The highlight for families is definitely the indoor water park it’s a total game-changer if you’re traveling with kids! The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, making it easy to unwind. As for the location, it’s conveniently situated near the highway and local shopping centers, which made getting around very easy. The breakfast was standard but fresh and satisfying. All in all, this hotel offers great value for the money, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for reliable comfort and genuine hospitality in Aberdeen.
