- CSChris S.Nov 10, 20251.0Bedbug alert! We checked in and went out grabbed some supper. When we got back to the hotel, we went to the room. Beyond the room needing maintenance (loose toilet seat, paint flaking, dirty carpet, etc..), we found BEDBUGS. Lady at the front desk was indifferent and almost defensive about the matter. She checked us out and offered no apology and told me whoever was taking her place would call me. When he called, he was unaware of any bedbug issue and had just been told that I had an issue with my room and checked out. Pending card charges have now been reversed and our travel agent has credited us back. Not trying to bash. I’m an IHG member. I have also stayed at the same hotel several weeks ago on a higher floor and had a great stay and the room was much better.

I saw the sign and drove around and looked for it. Below it says describe the hotel, none of those words are usable. I will never ever stay at Holiday inn again.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly front desk staff member and checking in was a breeze. They even had a small hotdog stand and fresh lemonade for the guests along with 24 hot coffee and hot chocolate. The room was spotless and the mattress and pillows reminded me of home, comfortable. I liked the fact that I could see my vehicle from my room and that the parking lot was well lit and seemed safe. The Cracker Barrel nearby is about the only place for dinner and we were disappointed there. Hopefully they will improve. They seemed unorganized and the food was cold, like it had been plated and set there for a while. The free, hot breakfast was great. super attentive staff and very clean setup with plenty of food choices. The quality of the food was above average and the coffee was fantastic.
