The check in process was very smooth, and the front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was to be expected, cozy, mostly clean except for a few areas in the bathroom, and the water was HOT! The included breakfast was surprisingly very well done. They had a good selection of hot food (pancakes, bacon, turkey sausage, eggs), along with an assortment of pastries, and a good variety of beverages, (coffee, hot chocolate, juices, etc). The hotel association SANDY was great! She was friendly, and was very helpful by assisting my family during breakfast. Although we came in at the very end of breakfast she didn’t try to rush us and still brought out fresh food. We’re very appreciative for that. I’d definitely recommend and would return.

Every member of the staff we interacted with was pleasant, sweet, and helpful. The common area was immaculate. All amenities worked and were clean. The breakfast was good and the staff was involved. As in they didn't just put food out and you don't see them again till they close breakfast like at other places. While breakfast was busy, I never saw a full trashcan they kept on top of everything. The staff took pride in their establishment and it showed. Almost like the environment made everyone else nicer. Almost felt like staying at a bed and breakfast. To me a hotel is just a hotel. But when I make the trip down the coast again I will aim to stop at this location for my overnight.

They have gone cheap on coffee service and no longer provide cream. They blamed the parent company but I think it’s local management as this has not happened anywhere else. They provide the pump concentrates of Carnation fake junk the lobby. I ended up going to a local market and buying milk. I love my morning coffee and this just starts the day off wrong. For 200 a night this is JUST WRONG.
