  Very pleased with everything at this hotel, we are staying for 4 nights.The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is exquisite lots to choose from and great conversations with the morning staff on duty. The rooms are great, we have a 2 queen with a balcony looking at the ocean Absolutely amazing views. Direct access to the beach. We will absolutely be coming back here for years to come.

  Location is amazing! The building very obviously needs some basic upkeep. The housekeeping staff was so sweet. Even going as far as unclogging the drain when I told her the water was pooling and we were 6 inches deep in water while we showered. I had reported this to the front desk and asked for them to come in the morning and I still had to find a housekeeper to fix it. FYI unclogging drains shouldn't be on the housekeepers, period. The cleanliness could use a big overhaul. Hairs in the shower that didnt below to us, soap scum from previous guest left in shower. Cobwebs in the room. Holes in the drapes. Very uncomfortable mattresses. Probably wont return.

  Annette and Terry truly made our stay at the Holiday Inn in Surfside Beach unforgettable. From the moment we walked into breakfast each morning, they greeted us with such warmth and genuine kindness, it felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home. They go above and beyond to make every guest feel special, remembering faces, sharing laughs, and creating such a positive, upbeat atmosphere. Their energy is contagious, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the people they serve. It’s rare to come across people who make such a lasting impression, but Annette and Terry absolutely do. They made us feel like family, and that kind of hospitality is something you don’t forget. The Holiday Inn at Surfside is very lucky to have you both on their team. We can’t wait to come back and visit. Thank you for all you do! It is appreciated more than you know.

  I had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront Surfside Beach, and I want to especially recognize Annette and Terri for their exceptional service during breakfast. Their hospitality truly went above and beyond. Every morning, they were incredibly attentive, making sure guests had everything they needed with genuine care. What stood out most was their compassion and warmth—they made everyone feel welcomed like family. Annette and Terri created such a positive and inviting atmosphere that it made starting each day something to look forward to.   Our family just returned from a truly memorable weekend at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff set the tone for what became a very special stay. A heartfelt thank you to Cheri and Scott at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. Their kindness, efficiency, and genuine care made us feel welcomed right away and throughout the weekend. We also want to recognize Aimee and Shanita, who provided outstanding service during our Friday family welcome dinner and Saturday’s celebration of life for our mom. These were deeply meaningful moments for our family, and their attentiveness, compassion, and grace did not go unnoticed. They helped create an atmosphere that was both comforting and celebratory—something we will always appreciate. Breakfast at Saltaire Coastal restaurant was another highlight thanks to Annette, whose friendly demeanor and excellent service were the perfect way to start our mornings. She made everyone feel at ease and taken care of. This weekend was incredibly important to us, and the team at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront played a big part in making it so special. We are truly thankful for the care, respect, and hospitality shown to our family. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
