  What a lovely pleasant stay! A shout out to managers, Lady and Ashley – they went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. So friendly, so accommodating and just so wonderful! You will not regret booking this hotel☺️

  We stayed at Holiday Inn Santee SC on 2/13/2026. The lady at the front desk was friendly and courteous. Our room on the other hand had some issues, it was not renovated yet, when we woke up in the morning to take a shower the water wouldn't come out of the shower head there was no way to turn in on, so we couldn't take showers. this is not acceptable! when checking out we told the front desk and I asked for a credit of some sort and she said she would notify the manager when they came in. I would have thought someone would reach out to me but as of today 2/25/2026 I have not heard from any manager. The window in our room had a huge crack in it, but it was ok once you close the drapes and we were only staying 1 night. The hotel is under renovations but that is no excuse. I will not stay here again unless they make it right.

  Ashley m was Very helpful and knowledgeable about the whole hotels and the way it is ran. She is the best executive housekeeper!!!!

  I've been with holiday inn for years there is nothing truly bad with this site only 1 bad egg is reason for ratings I've stayed here before with no issues higher ups are aware of situation...so come on in the site is really great just the bad egg on my stay have fun go and play...as for holiday inn we are all good here thank you

  I traveled to Santee for a week for work, which required early nights and early mornings during my stay. The room was clean and tidy which was a plus though there was almost no water pressure in the shower, and the water took a bit to heat up and was brown the first time I ran it. The first night was okay though I attempted to grab a bite of food from the hotel restaurant as I had been driving all day. They were understaffed and had only the maintenance guy and a new hire covering the restaurant. That being said while the food wasn't terrible (it wasn't good either) they double charged me for my drinks and the wait time was horrible. (Though again short staffed but they wouldn't fix the bill and it took about an hour for the food with it being just the two of us there). The second day I was locked out of my room because they had unassigned me from the room where all my things were, and had moved me to another room somewhere else in the hotel. Then unassigned that room and moved me again, all while I was working, all in the system. It was a quick fix thankfully but it was definitely odd and a bit frustrating after working all day. Tonight is the last night I am here and there has been a dog howling and crying for about 45 minutes now. It stops for a little bit before any noise sets it back off. When I called down to let them know, so they could give the owner a heads up that their dog was freaking out, not as a complaint (as I'd want someone to tell me if my dog was panicking), I was told that "shut down is at 10, have a good night" and was hung up on. So overall here is my take on the hotel. Pros: -Clean and tidy rooms -Comfortable beds -Near the highway for easy access but far enough that there isn't a bunch of noise from the highway Con's: -Bad water pressure / hot water takes a minute / brown water at first, have to run it till it clears -Service is not consistently bad but the few times there was an issue the staff became very rude. -Over charged for drinks and a meal that took over an hour to get and wasn't that good Overall I do not recommend this hotel unless you are staying for only one night as a pit stop. It's not the worst out there but it has enough issues that it's not worth the price and you don't really feel welcome. Definitely not up to IHG standards.
