- WWwittywackykathyDec 27, 20253.0Hotel is conveniently located off interstate when traveling. We stayed there twice on our travels home from WV. On our last visit, the hotel was undergoing some upgrades in construction so we were excited about enjoying the upgrades this time. The room is nice but one cup coffee maker was horrible and we could not seem to get the thermostat in the room to adjust and room was very warm. We were excited to eat at the restaurant as it was very nice and we had not had an opportunity to eat there on our first visit. After a long day of travel, we were looking forward to a nice hot meal. Unfortunately the food came out cold and we had to change our order twice. When we told management all they replied was that we were not charged for our meal and to try them again on our next visit. We did not expect to be charged for a cold meal that we did not eat. As a Hilton Honors member I am very disappointed by the response we received from management, “Stephanie.” At a minimum, I would have expected to be offered a free appetizer to give the restaurant another opportunity to earn our business. As it stands, I will not order food at the restaurant and am wavering on whether I will even stay there again. If we do stay there, I will definitely opt for the Chili’s restaurant next door. It’s convenient and at least you can count on good warm food!
