  I stayed at the beginning of March. Typically I'm at this hotel once a year for work because it's the only hotel in reasonable distance to the office. Normally, zero issues but this time has been a doozy. The morning I check out there was no hot water. I informed the nice lady at the front desk who tried to adjust my stay due to the inconvenience (nice!). Made a mistake while trying to issue the credit and overcharged me for a night. No big deal, gave me a second receipt showing the fix. Then, since the stay is on a corporate card, I notice there's been 2 charges on my card for a 3 night stay. Phone call after phone call later, one of the 2 charges got refunded but the first charge still shows the amount for a 3 night stay when I only stayed 2. Emails go unanswered, phone calls have not been returned, even opening a case with IHG corporate I get ignored. It's been over a month now, last phone call was 7 days ago where I was told by the manager they completed the adjustment (have another receipt) - still not back on my card. I held off this long from writing this after leaving another voicemail this morning to attempt to fix this. Next stop is the SC Department of Consumer Affairs for an official complaint. **Edited Update 4/14/2026 - after a month this was finally resolved. That being said, I really really hope this was just a fluke. It's a good hotel, has been since it opened.

  Stayed here in Jan. on our way south. Chose to stay there again on our way North based on our good experience in January. This time being the weekend it was much more expensive and the staff was much more ho-hum about service. Our room was still fine. The location's okay. But staff was obviously not making an effort, and my pocketbook was saying ouch. I really didn't want to buy a room, I only wanted to sleep in it a few hours.

  Great atmosphere and everything all around staff was very helpful and inviting, thank you for an amazing stay with my husband and children 😊 Breakfast was also hot and delicious.

  Fabulous. Took a cash incentive for the room and claimed it never happened. That wasn't cool. But 25 dollars when other hotels request hundred, can't beat it in fact keep it. Id recommend this hotel over all other 3 stars and less in South Carolina easily. It's just clean. (They could use a Roku device in rooms but that's hear not there) Can bring your own
