- SCShelley-Ann C.Feb 21, 20264.0The rooms are typical in terms of the furniture. However, the floors are not carpeted, which is great. The window treatment is not the usual drapes. They are two layers of blinds. The outer layer has the Tru logo. I believe this alternative is good and allows for regular cleaning. The bathroom is good and stocked with the needed supplies. The shower does not have curtains (Yay!). It has a glass enclosure and a door that opens outwards. Front desk reception was good and the check-in process was seamless. There is a comfortable seating area next to the reception area and coffee/tea is available at no cost all day. A complimentary breakfast is offered. This is good for the traveler or those vacationing who do not want the fast food route. There is also wifi in the rooms. Guests can select the free wifi option or another option with a daily rate. I used the free option and was able to get work done. Renovations are currently being done so I have not yet seen the finished product. I can tell anyone who travels, if there is a Tru Hotel in your area, it's a good choice to make. Also, I have observed they are often located close to restaurants and shopping areas.

Called and was told that $55.00 was added to the invoice as a pet fee & is not refundable. I really don't appreciate bring lied to & will not stay at a Hilton again.
