The staff at this hotel really made it a pleasure to stay here. At check-in, Krucher was so helpful, friendly and polite. There was a complicated issue with my booking and even the helpdesk couldn't do anything. Krucher went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved. Thank you!
Try to get a room on the opposite side to the highway if possible, as it could get quite noisy. But the location is good. Near a lot of places to eat and shop and with easy access to downtown Charleston.

The rooms were fine but my biggest issue was that you had to pay for parking, which was no big deal. The issue is that I had to pay for parking but I didn't even get to park in a parking spot because everything was taken. Meanwhile there were these big trucks in the parking lot taking up about 4 spots each. I didn't think that was right that I had to pay to park here but then didn't get to actually park in a parking spot. It also makes me wonder if these trucks paid for 4 spots apiece or if they only paid for 1. Regardless. It wasn't right I had to pay for something I didn't get to use.

While the check in was very accommodating, the stay was quite disturbing, bed bugs and metal protruding from a chair tore my pants and cut my leg. General manager comped one room out off three, the room my daughter was moved to was also dirty and smelly.
We plan to escalate this situation.

Got to the hotel to find parking is not included and not only that but you have to go through a third party website with taxes and fees of their own. Its not like this location is walking distance to downtown. The parking app had me put in my information and then started my parking session without even telling me what the price was. Had to go all over the site to find a price and it doesn't include the taxes and fees that it tells you will be charged so I have no idea how much I am going to be charged for parking. Feels like a scam. Does Hilton corporate know about this or did someone decide to get a kick back from using a third party parking vendor?

Hotel was fine enough. Was very disappointed that this far out of downtown Charleston they still make you pay $14 a night for parking…even if you’re a guest here. Lady at front desk was quite rude when I asked her questions about why that’s even necessary if I’m already a paying guest here and there’s plenty of parking. Such a high fee for around here that isn’t disclosed on the website… save your $14 a night and go somewhere else that isn’t leeching for more money.
