My preferred hotel in North Charleston. Rooms are always clean and I’ve never had an issue with the staff. The gym is always clean and doesn’t feel cramped when there are multiple people in there.
The restaurant downstairs is stellar. Sitting at the bar is one of my favorite pass times. That Salmon BLT with sweet potato fries and a draft beer truly has me in a choke hold.

The carpet in me spot of the room by the bed smelled of Dog pee. The rest of the hotel was fine and the cookies are good. The pee scent was just annoying because it was difficult to pin point. It was like everything will be fine just chatting with my friends then I turn my head the wrong way. And Boom! Piss

I see why customers give good scores on this hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. One bad part of my room was they still have very old beds. My bed was hard as a rock. Therefore, 3 stars. To me, this is the most important, because a comfy bed is what everyone wants to have a good rest. I usually stay next door, but, my curiosity led me wrong, I wanted to see how this place was. No kitchens, hard old beds. Will be the last time I and my company We'll stay here. If anyone reads this, stay next door, rooms are nice, and beds are comfy. I paid for one of the highest prices to get a decent room with comfy bed, and here I still got a bad bed

Here's the Pros and Cons from my stay:
PROS
- Large rooms
- Bathroom(s) very clean and decorative
- Room Service was decent
CONS
- Parking fee of $12 daily - with fees a 2-day stay was $30. This is nothing more than corporate greed - Absolutely Ridiculous!!!
- Hotel room (302) in dire need of upgrading/renovation. Carpet was worn and stained and just filthy - much so that I placed a towel on the floor to get into and out of bed. Furniture heavily scratched and worn
- There needs to be a larger trash bin in the room vice two really small ones. I was using a paper bag to hold my daily trash
- The room was directly across from the interstate and vehicle noise was problematic - to mitigate I ran the room fan to provide a "white-noise" effect
- No free breakfast
BOTTOM LINE
- Well below my expectations and standards of a Hilton brand hotel; they must do better!!
- I specifically choose this hotel because of its pet-free policy - however, unless substantial changes are made I will be looking elsewhere to stay
