  WOW! Fiance and I took a trip together this weekend. We were looking for a hotel that had a large jacuzzi tub. Exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and relaxing. We got an Oceanfront room with two balconies. The staff was extremely nice and even texted us the next day to see if we needed anything. Then on checkout texted us that we did not need to go checkout at the counter to just text them when we left. I love this, so efficient. We will definitely stay here again. The elevators were quick and room was quite.

  Absolutely amazing. As a Canadian visiting, this time of year was slow but happy to have had the hottub to myself. Beautiful views. Great staff. And clean and comfortable rooms. I WILL BE BACK!

  Clean and welcoming resort on the oceanfront. The room was great with fantastic views. We were greeted by dolphins just off shore when we first saw the view from one of our balconies. We were there off season so we really enjoyed the quiet beaches. I’m sure peak season is another story, one we are eager to find out for ourselves. The only downside was the furniture wasn’t very comfortable. Again, probably not an issue during peak season, spending all day on the beach, but in the evening it’s nice to be comfortable. That was the only down side. We will be back!

  My family and I love this location, however, we had difficulty with check-in. We came the week of New Years Eve. After a long drive 13 hours of driving, they make you go from station to station.The last part of our check in, we were waiting for our keys from the concierge. Last thing my husband and I wanted to do was sit down after driving 13 hours. A rude, black/ Puerto Rican woman with very frizzy ,curly hair told us to seat down and wait for our concierge. I thought one of the employees called her Karen, go figure! When we declined to sit, she rudely in a condescending way told my husband and I we needed to wait because another women was there first, and she was a owner!! That was never a problem for us to wait, it was sitting down!! Also, we never interrupted anyones guest service!! Guess what....we are owners as well!! This is unacceptable to be greeted by an employees of Westgate Myrtle Beach, after driving 13 hours. Now for the plus! Location was amazing, right on the ocean. We had a balcony view, so beautiful and amazing to see all the fireworks!! Our rooms were very cleaned, except for the light smell of marijuana in one of the rooms. Housekeeping was awsome, I give them 10 gold stars! 🌟 They are the reason our time at Westgate was enjoyable, getting our rooms what was needed in a timely fashion! The food at Drafts was ok, except for the cookie and pretzel, which was burnt! Also, not enough carts for the luggage. The ones we used were defective, and parts were coming off. We may consider coming back in the near future, as the area was fun and lots to do!
