  One of the nicest IHG hotels I've ever been in. We were in an oceanfront two-room suite and it was amazing! Very spacious with a built-in sound machine and an espresso machine, both of which I've never seen. The hotel has been completely refurbished and it is beautiful. The staff, namely Kristina, was so friendly and very accommodating. The icing on the cake was Trivia Night in the restaurant. Breakfast was superb, the very best Eggs Benedict that rivaled any I've had elsewhere. We will be back!

  Extraordinary service every employee was very respectful and accommodating. The upstairs bar provided excellent service and met our every need. Verdie & Jaedon provided very good service for me and all my friends!

  Right on the strip, plenty of parking across the street. Check in was simple. There were staff there to help with baggage if needed (we didn't but excellent that they offered it.) The TV wasn't working right in our room, and when we called, maintenance immediately came up. I forget his name but also super friendly. They had just done a ton of upgrades so the company that connected the TVs connected it to the wrong port. We had a balcony view, facing the beach. Room was clean, bathroom was a good size. Sadly we were only there for a day but weoved the whole vibe of the place. Didn't get to go to the restaurant or enjoy the pool. But zero complaints from us. Definitely going to be back

  I recently stayed at the Voco Shelby Myrtle Beach and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The room was humid, musty, and sticky, with a strong odor of dog urine. Unfortunately, I had my suitcase open on the floor, and all of my clothing absorbed the smell, leaving them unwearable for the remainder of my trip. There were also dead moths in the corner of the room, which contributed to an overall sense of poor cleanliness and maintenance. In addition, the room lacked basic amenities such as a clock, notepad, pen, toothpaste, and shower cap. The only positive aspect of my stay was the convenient location near the ocean, but beyond that, the accommodations did not meet the standards I expected. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

  We loved staying here. Customer service is critical for me and this was a solid 10+/10. Every employee was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The beachfront was beautiful, the pool area was lovely, the room was spotless and comfy, the balcony was surprisingly large, the breakfast was great (kudos to the breakfast chef....next time we'll try dinner also), the bar was great, the location was ideal. We encountered only 2 unpleasant, whiny guests, but given the property size and length of our stay, it was probably inevitable, and we didn't let them diminish our experience. We don't have a dog, but I loved that it was a dog-friendly hotel! We will definitely stay here again.
