As close to the beach as one could be. Lovely ocean view from my room on the fourth floor. The service in the restaurant was friendly, attentive, and accommodating -- thanks in particular to Gil and Donna 💕. The exterior is a bit dated, and the elevators are very slow... but that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the weekend I spent here. It was absolutely lovely.

I want to personally send a shout out to Carrie! You were amazing. I was looking a little lost beyond being sleepy. We traveled over 17 hours to get there and a welcoming space was what we needed. Even though from the outside it looks kinda weird, but inside was comfy and beautiful. Thanks again for everything Carrie!

This was my first time staying at the Ellie and I got a great price - so I was skeptical. But hands down, for the price it was an amazing stay. I didn't use any of the amenities - we were in town for softball. I can say that I don't think there is a bad view for the sunrise. The parking situation was great. Check in was seamless, and we had great experiences on Friday and Saturday in the bar and lobby.

This hotel is listed as part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, but in reality, it falls far below that standard. The photos online are misleading and do not reflect the true condition of the property. From the outside, it resembles a motel-style setup, with all guest rooms having exterior entrances definitely not what you’d expect from a Hilton brand. While the lobby and exterior areas seem updated, the guest rooms are dated and underwhelming, and the overall feel is more budget motel than boutique hotel. The only true highlight of the property is the view of the ocean, which I suspect is why it’s been branded under the Tapestry name. I was told I would receive concierge treatment, but I’m still wondering what that was supposed to include. The DoubleTree next door looked far more appealing, and I actually requested to be moved there instead. I’m shocked that Hilton has allowed this property to be listed under the Tapestry Collection. It does not live up to the brand promise or the price point. I would not recommend this hotel in its current state, and I strongly encourage Hilton corporate to visit in person and re-evaluate this designation. Do better, Hilton.

Booked this vacation because we were excited for family time. Everything seemed perfect. Booked a two bedroom with bunk beds for the kids. The bunk beds are in the common room next to the door. Seemed great. Until we went to leave the room. Door frame was stressed. Door would not lock. No matter what could be pushed open with one finger. Knob pin would not line up with the strike plate. Told front desk. She said she would tell engineering. No one came for three days even after repeated complaints. Had to take our valuables down to the vehicle every time we left the room. And we had to sleep in a room that was not secured. Remember the kids bunk beds were right by the door. We had to give them the bedroom and me and the wife slept in the bunk beds incase if someone trying to come in. We also went to the grocery store to buy food to save on restaurants. We paid for a room with full fridge and kitchenette for a reason. Fridge didn't work. Was at 51 degrees. Asked three times. No engineering ever came. Freezer did work so froze what we could. Lost over 100 dollars in stuff that went bad in fridge. Over all very dissapointed. First vacation in 5 years for us. Wish things were different. This hilton hotel is nice, but definitely ran thru. Hopefully yall have a better experience.
