- SKSarah K.Nov 6, 20254.0The hotel is about 1.5 miles from the beach. A bit far to walk, but fair for the price. The staff weren’t particularly friendly, but I had no issues with them. My main complaint was the floor of my room. The room looked clean at first, but within 20 minutes of walking around in socks while getting ready for bed, the bottoms of my socks turned black (see photo). This was my first night, and I’d barely been in the room, so I don’t think I could’ve tracked in that much dirt. It makes me think the floors aren’t cleaned at all in-between guests, which made me question how well the rest of the room had been cleaned. I wanted to ask housekeeping to wipe up the floor so I wouldn’t ruin more socks, but there was no phone in the room to call the front desk and I didn’t want to go to the lobby in my pj’s. And each time I passed through the lobby during the day, the desk was either unstaffed or had a line, and I didn’t want wait so I never asked.

The jacuzzi was nice. The pool was clean and quite large. We have stayed here before The view out our window was a lake. Everything morning we would see Egret, a crane, a loon, and lots of geese and ducks. Very calming to watch them. It was Halloween 🎃.
