TV had to have maintenance fix it twice. Outdated and too small. View wasn't good. We expected much better with it being a Hilton brand. Will stay further north from now on. Jersey flying above didn't get good sleep. We had it for 5 days and left the 2nd day.

Pretty disappointed. Directions led us to the “Ellie” hotel next door, we had to idea where to check in/ where the lobby was due to no signage outside. It was upstairs & quite confusing. We learned we had to then pay extra fees for the wrist bands & parking which was not disclosed prior. Then after the very long to another building to find our room, the keys didn’t work. So back to the lobby we go, then back to the room to await maitnence. My husband and I wanted to try the amenities since we had to pay for them. We chose to visit the mini golf across the street that was included. The green areas were turning from green to black, everything overgrown and clearly abandoned. The next day we woke up to our room being flooded as there was a ceiling leak. We’re were told “this happens often.” - lastly the shower did not drain properly and by the end of the shower your ankles were submerged in water. Safe to say we will NOT be returning.

Ok - So I'm a local - so I didn't stay at DoubleTree! I did have a nice lunch at their restaurant - it was so awesome in so many way! First the view - well - first the company - my colleague Liz at the station - the view - we looked out on the ocean, their pool and the SpringMaid Pier - it was awesome! Next the food & service - topnotch! Lunch was fabulous! The gal that waited on us was so nice - from Minnesota - sorry - forget her name - just a fabulous time - a real hidden gem - going back for sure! Thanks so much for a really nice time - more locals need to know about it!
