This crop, from which a rich blue dye can be extracted, was integral to the area's 18th century economy. The pool area was very nice, and it's in a perfect location to get to the historic area of Charleston. It's also in easy walking distance of great views at the waterfront memorial park and pier.

Great property, clean modern rooms that are reasonably priced, quiet with a friendly staff. Well worth staying here and taking a ride share to the city or wherever. Short drive to the sights but far enough away to relax in style and comfort. Mike NJ

The room and hotel felt clean, the staff are all very friendly (especially Lashonda!), and the pool area was so nice. The only slight bummer was that we were told the pool was heated, but it definitely wasn’t at the time we were there. But it was an awkward time of chilly one morning and hot the rest of the time so I kind of understand that. But the water was very cold. Other than that small detail, we had an awesome stay and will definitely book again in the future!

Lashanda was the best, so friendly and welcoming. Also, big thanks to Joe and Stephanie for your assistance and hospitality. We had a wonderful girls weekend. Hope to be back next year!!
