  I was there for only one reason, so I was not aware of too many things. Difficult to focus on what the room was like or if the staff was friendly. I got the room so that I could spend some alone time with one of the females that I am quite intimate with. As far as the room, it was clean and the bed served it's purpose. And I did about an hour or more of servicing.

  Some of the rooms have been remodeled but there are still a lot of outdated things about this hotel.

  I stayed at this hotel on March 21st–22nd while traveling from Florida back home to Frederick, MD. We specifically chose this location because it was the perfect halfway point and it advertised an indoor pool, which was something my daughter was really looking forward to. Check-in started off fine — the front desk associate was friendly, and I was charged $216.91 for the night. However, at no point was I told that the pool was closed. After bringing our luggage up, my daughter, boyfriend, and I immediately changed into our bathing suits to go swimming. We even walked past the front desk and down the hall in clear view of staff — still, no one said a word. When we got to the pool area, there was a large sign saying it was “closed for maintenance.” This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Had we known this at check-in, we absolutely would have chosen a different hotel. There were also no visible signs at the front desk warning guests about the closure, which feels very misleading. On top of that, the condition of our room (Room 205) was not acceptable. There were no baseboards, and there was a noticeable stain around the toilet area on the floor, which made the room feel unclean. After leaving an honest review through Best Western, I received a follow-up email from the general manager apologizing and providing a “direct number.” When I called, it turned out to just be the front desk, and he wasn’t even available. That only added to the frustration, as it felt like another empty gesture rather than a real attempt to resolve the issue. Overall, this stay was disappointing due to lack of transparency, poor room condition, and lack of follow-through from management. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

  We came for just an overnight to stay on our way to Florida. We had many things go wrong today, but as soon as I walked in to check in, everything changed! Alexis is so wonderful. She is so personable and friendly. After I got to the room I had an issue and she happily came up to help me with it. She's a real keeper.

  PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!! Best Western in Latta S.C. off of 95. Bed bugs bit me on my first stay March 6th 2026 in room 319 and on my second stay on March 13th 2026 in room 110. The second stay, my Pastor ended up with room 319 and he was bitten by bed bugs as well. When I reported the issue to the customer service number, she told me they never had issues with bed bugs. She gave me the actual hotel number and I spoke with Renee, (the receptionist at the front desk of the hotel in Latta), and she told me there were no trace of bed bugs in the room.(I reported the issue before i left the hotel with Renee. She said bedbugs leave traces of blood in the sheets and there was no trace of blood in the sheets.) My neck had several bits from the first stay(room 319) and both my legs had several bits from the second stay (room110). I wasn't asking for money back, I just wanted them to fix the problem so others after me wouldn't be affected, but to defend or deny that there was not a problem, made me post this review. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again and whoever is reading this *****PLEASE BEWARE*****.
