There are a lot of places close by to eat, and it is a fairly safe area. The facilities are nice most place, but some places need some attention. I would stay here again.

I simply enjoyed every bit of hotel hospitality, cleanliness, breakfast options, location and proximity to beach, restaurants and parks. $10 parking may be roll into room as it feels too much for open lots. Now the best part is hotel staff. Everyone we interacted was awesome. Especially Tamara & Careen with cheerful attitude. My daughter left her over $200 NorthFace jacket in hotel and Tamara went out of way to coordinate and find it with housekeeping. She got it shipped within 1 hour as well. My kids loved staying there and we will go back to same hotel next time in HH.
