Noisy construction going on, little attempt seemed to be made to mitigate the noise other that hours restrictions. It took repetitive requests for fuel for the grill to get a fresh tank delivered to facilitate a grill-out.
Generally quiet outside of construction hours, friendly staff. Very comfortable beds.

Facility is located on Shelter Cove. They have a beach house on the ocean with a shuttle bus that runs daily. The Island is built for bike travel with sidewalk trails covering a large portion of the island and the beach is an easy ride hard pack. A different kind of beach community. Not as commercial as the more popular beaches. Golf is a large attraction, dolphin tours, kayaking, biking, historic, nature tours and plenty of great food.

The BEST experience ever here! We love this resort, the cast members, the activities, everything was top notch. The rooms were incredibly clean, and were cleaned daily. They were set up nicely, we didn't want to leave.

We have been DVC members for many years now and stayed at several of the resorts. We chose to go off the beaten path this year and stay at Vero Beach and here at Hilton Head. In my original review, which I have revised. I definitely experienced some disappointments, but Disney did come through and is working hard to make the remainder of our stay more than pleasant and we are truly grateful for that. I have loved being a DVC member for many years and have been very pleased, and most everyone we have met has been a delight. I’m thankful that the staff here at Hilton Head listened and have been amazingly kind. Thank You! All of the villas seem to have at least two flights of stairs others four flights. Bell services would be an awesome added addition. The ladies that come in to do the daily inspections have been really nice and given us extra towels, k-cups and taken out our trash. The resort is very Disjointed, lots of walking/driving to amenities, so if you like to get your exercise you will love the feel of nature as you walk the boardwalk to get you around the resort. A note for families, it really doesn’t seem like the best resort for very small children compared to some of the other resorts but maybe that’s because we were here in the winter season. Parking is very limited, most especially if the resort is full. I would have given a revised 5 star as the staff here has been awesome but it’s more about the location for us that I’m leaving the four stars. If you are coming here to escape and relax then you will love this resort but if you’re looking for activities other than golfing, boating or shopping, you might be disappointed. Maybe it’s different in the summer time.

We were there the weekend of 1/30- 2/1, when it snowed! Every Cast Member we came in contact with seemed genuinely excited and happy to see us, anytime we walked around the property. It reminded me of how Disney Parks customer service use to be when I was a kid. The host, Hank, at the reception desk greeted us like old friends coming to visit, when we came to check in late Friday night. The housekeeping staff greeted us warmly every time we passed them and had left a little care package of snacks in our room, the store staff literally opened the door for us as we walked up and took time to make my niece feel special, the lifeguard staff helped us make a snowball… because as Floridians…we had no idea lol giving us a magical experience we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to check off the bucket list. A group of managers surveying the property during the winter storm, stopped to compliment my jacket. Throughout the evening, we saw Cast Members rounding, monitoring the property, sprinkling ice melt, checking on various things… which made us feel safe… this was my first time at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort since becoming a DVC Member in 2007… but it will, most definitely, not be my last!! Thank you all!!
