  It is always a great time when we visit Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. It was 13 years since i last visited and all the rooms have been updated and they have also added a few things like, bocce ball courts, Corn Hole boards, along with a giant outdoor checker set and a mini putting green. It is a great place to make family memories no matter how old you are.

  I gotta say they did a horrible job on creating insulation from the up and down stairs. You can hear every step from the floor above you. There were kids and that sounded like a heard of buffalo. Damaging the quiet relaxing environment. If’s horrible. At the very least they need to have small kid families on the lower levels. The resort is beautiful. The people are great.

  Beautiful room, beautiful location. We weren't there long enough to know how the overall service and vibe was but I'm sure it was up to Disney standards. At least it was while we were there. My wife said she wants to go back for an extended stay in the future.

  It’s Disney and yet its vibe is all relaxation. The have a heated pool which is nice in the cooler temps and a hot tube as well. There is a snack shop as well. They also have a beach house about 1 mile away with spectacular views. With an average tide of 9 feet, you can see in real time high tide and low tide. Simply beautiful and peaceful and rejuvenating.

  We are newer DVC members and doing a South Carolina trip this year we wanted to check out this resort! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and it was spacious and felt similar to all the rooms at WDW. The food was a bit tricky as it closed at 5pm, wasn’t a big issue for us but was wondering if it affected others at all. It was chilly during our stay so we didn’t really get to enjoy the pool or the Beach House much. As far as activities they do a good job of activities for kids every day but in the Hilton Head island area it is more boating, golfing, shopping. The first cast member we interacted with was not very friendly and did not feel like Disney we didn’t even get a welcome home upon checking in. But every cast member after that resembled the Disney magic. I would recommend this place, seems like a nice place to come in the summer as well for more of a relaxing island getaway.
