Location by Coligny Plaza is perfect for shopping and dining. Ample places within walking distance. Amazing service by the team here. The pool bar and waiters were top tier. Rooms you can tell are a little older but there were no issues. Rooms were clean and housekeeping is attentive and reliable.

BLUF: 3/5 — carried by amenities, not the room. Great beach location with solid on-site options, but the stay itself fell short. Pros: Direct beach access is the highlight. Restaurant, coffee bar, and tiki bar on-site make everything convenient. Cons: Rooms feel dated — bathroom grout needs attention. The AC was the biggest issue: it shut off multiple times, even after I reported it on day two. Room stayed 72–74 the entire stay, and windows don’t open, so no workaround. Sleep was miserable. Resort fee refund didn’t make up for it. Toilet was also an issue — had to hold the handle down 25–30 seconds just to flush. Elevators feel like they’re barely holding on, and many guests opted for the stairs. The tiki bar has plastic walls to block wind but they weren’t being used. Bottom line: Great amenities and location, but rooms and infrastructure need upgrades to match the price.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING AND LOOK AT THE PICTURES I POSTED. I would definitely NOT recommend staying here. After the first night we noticed a large amount of black mold all over the back side of the window curtain. Went to the front desk immediately and there wasn’t even an apology. They gave us a new room but acted as if it wasn’t a big deal. Packing up and moving rooms with 2 small children is frustrating and to not even get an I’m sorry for your inconvenience was very frustrating. After moving rooms we accidentally left our son’s blanket in the first room and asked the front desk if they turned it in. The house keeping claimed it wasn’t there which we knew it was. I have to assume house keeping took it because it was 100% left in that room. Health wise please find somewhere and stay far away from here!!

Made the mistake of booking without scouring through the reviews and can relate to many other guests. We checked in at 9:30pm for a 4 night trip and checked right out at 8am the next morning. The Tiki Bar is cool and the bartender we had was excellent with our kids. The pool area looked nice as well. You can tell this is a party area on a public beach. The rooms are terrible though and a little tight for a family of 4. We had black hairs on pretty much every towel in the bathroom - put the floor towel down and after hanging it up, that also picked up black hairs from the floor. My daughter had a black hair and toe nail in her bed. There was no hot water in the morning and that was the end of that. I will say that the front desk staff did not penalize us for early check out and refunded us the rest of our stay with no persuasion on my part which I am thankful for that.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It is quite apparent that the property has not been properly maintained over the years…neglected, visibly dirty, and the room was not clean or well cared for. Unfortunately, the service did not make up for these shortcomings. The customer service throughout the hotel was quite poor, with staff seeming uninterested and unhelpful. When I checked in, there were no luggage carts, and I was told by Olivia to walk up and down the hallways to look for one. This lack of attentiveness carried over into the restaurant as well. While the food was mediocre at best—nothing particularly memorable—the service there was equally underwhelming. While eating dinner, the mosquitoes were so horrible that I asked if they had any sort of bug spray. The server did bring me a can of bug spray. The fact that he had it readily available says to me this is an ongoing issue. I applied bug spray to my clothing and all around me, but they were still swarming everywhere. I ate a few bites of my salad and decided to take it up to my room. He brought me very flimsy plastic utensils that I knew would not cut the chicken that was on my Caesar salad. I asked him if I could take my silverware up to the room and just leave it in the room. He said no because it would never make its way back to the restaurant. I then said that’s OK. I’ll be happy to bring it back down after I’m finished eating. He still told me no that he could not let me do that. REALLY? The one positive aspect of this hotel is its location, which is excellent and very convenient. However, given the state of the property and the level of service provided, I would not choose to stay here again. I’m interested to see my cut and paste hotel management response. Someone else pointed that out when I was reading the reviews and sure enough that seems to be their MO. I’ve included photos of my room, which was room 406. It was Disgusting. I literally stripped the sheets back, looking for bedbugs just assuming I would them because this is that type of hotel. In the photos that I took, you’ll see lots of paint missing dirty corners and on the bathroom lights that is a layer of dust. And in the picture hanging on the wall behind the toilet is mold. Which is something that I saw another hotel guest complain about. The room had also not been properly cleaned before me. I’m blonde and there were black hairs in the shower. What a shame for such a great location to be wasted. I Would not return to this hotel. I’m sure I can find another hotel that’s nicer and cleaner in a wonderful location.
