Well equipped with fridge, coffee, toiletries, comfortable but small beds (double not queen). Breakfast: fair. All of the basics there. Coffee was mediocre (room coffee was better). Smells a bit musty but it is an updated/renovated hotel. For the price and location, it was good overall. I'm giving this a 4 star because the rooms were very clean, no musty smells in rooms and free of bugs! Breakfast was free and ok.
- GMGrace MallozziNov 13, 20252.0We drive down to Florida every year and this is the third year that we stopped at this hotel because for the two years before this we were very happy with the room and the service. This year, though, was a different story. The room was clean enough, that’s why I gave it two stars. The complementary breakfast hardly had anything and the food wasn’t replenished in a timely manner, leaving the hot dishes on the buffet almost empty. However, the next morning while checking out, we left a black jacket in the closet and didn’t realize until we were nearly home, almost 4 states away! What is 100 x’s worse than that is that we left a bank envelope with $800 in cash in the room and didn’t realize until it was obviously too late! We were devastated and quickly called the front desk upon arriving home. The man asked the cleaning lady if she found it, and she said all she found was a black jacket! Really? She never saw the envelope with $800.00?! Needless to say, we will not be staying at that hotel again!
