  My family and I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights at the Palmetto Dunes resort at the 12 Cartgate location. The house had not been prepared for guests, the pool had not been cleaned, the driveways, patio and walkways had not been blown off. There was cob webs in the entrance ways, the lamp shades, spiders had webs in small spaces, the grill had not been cleaned, no propane for the grill. When I inquired not once but 5 times about the different disparities, at first they sent maintenance to fix the grill and the alarm that was going off. But not once was the maid service provided. Then when the weekend came and still had to inquire about the electrical unit tripping the upstairs lights off, I was confronted by the black female assistant manager, whose only resolution was to refund the cleanup fee instead of resolving the problem. Let alone when we asked about extra garbage bags, and towels...the nastiness in her demeanor was a charge of an extra $35 dollars. Very disappointed in the experience here. The size and location of these homes should have warranted a much better outcome for my family and I. As normal we being a family of color detects the experience and they always use us against each other as well.
