  This facility is very clean and has a great free breakfast. James at the check in counter was very nice and courteous. I noticed he has a great work ethic that really comes by now. He keeps himself busy keeping the lobby clean and professional. I’m very pleased with our 2 nights stay.

  I selected this hotel because it was walking distance to a concert at Bon Secours Wellness Arena and I’m very pleased with my selection. To start the staff at the front desk Thursday and Friday made me feel like I was part of their family. It’s always great to have friendly staff but it’s above and beyond when you feel like you’re their family. The building was in the perfect spot to walk to and from the concert and I felt safe in the area. The building is an older brick building but clearly the rooms have been updated. My 15 year old said it smelt funny but it was just the old building and cleaning products, we didn’t even notice a smell after the initial walk in. The room was fully stocked. There was a fridge and microwave along with a hair dryer. The hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion in the restroom were full and Dove products. The bed was tidy and clean. We didn’t watch tv but there was one in there. The bed was comfy and had a variety of pillows i f you don’t travel with yours I’m sure you’ll find one you like. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful if needed, he was on top of restocking and cleaning tables as people left and there were a lot of people there. I would definitely stay there again I was so pleased with the friendliness, cleanliness, location, and a feeling of safety which are my top requirements when traveling with just my daughter and I.

  I stay here regularly but last night I had a horrible experience. I had been driving all day, checked in around 11:30 and when I got to the room it was 65 and the heat wasn't working. The desk clerk had a huge attitude when I went back down and suggested I "wait a while". After some arguing he put me in another room. At $200 I shouldn't have to deal with broken heat and attitude from a clerk.

  Pros: • Good overall service • Good location right off Main Street — easy walk to everything • Breakfast had a good variety (although by the time we got there 8:30, most of the food wasn’t replenished) Cons: • I felt like it was overpriced for quality, paid around 250.00 • Shower wasn’t clean (dirty rag left inside) • Found bugs in the room • Shower took 7–8 minutes to get warm • Bed had a large dent in it (see photo)

  The cleanliness of the entire establishment is by far the best of any hotel that I’ve stayed at. Having a career that requires me to stay out of town a majority of the year, that is saying a lot. It’s located within walking distance of some amazing restaurants. That being said, the cleanliness and location aren’t even the gems of this place. The preponderance of what makes this hotel great, hands down, is the employees. With people like Brooklyn and Nathaniel, it is very easy to find yourself on a first name basis and in a conversation with someone who feels more like a friends than someone you just met. Even having an inside joke with one of them by the time you checkout wouldn’t be unheard of. (You don’t have any chocolate cake do you?) Needless to say, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and even if I were working in any of the surrounding areas I will be staying at this fine establishments!
