  The hotel is located close to shops and commercial areas. Its a good option for business travel. However, the service was not up to mark. My room had no hand soap available to me and when requested, it took them 24hrs to give it to me. The shower was leaking. The room had peeling wallpaper. Breakfast was not good even for a hotel of this class. There is only one on-site dining option, A Ruth Chris’ Steakhouse. Which is at odds with a budget oriented hotel like this. The lobby was nice and open and so were the front desk staff.

  The rooms looked be falling apart especially in the bathroom. The wall paper was falling off, there were holes in the walls. Grout was dirty, bathing area was dirty . Conveniently there is a Ruth's chris attached which was pretty good. The lobby/bar area do not at all match the rooms. Most likely will not be making another stay there

  Our stay at this crowne plaza was amazing!! I mean everything was amazing!! We were greeted at the desk by Tanika up on our arrival. Tanika went above and beyond her job, she’s excellent, she gave us as much information as she could about things to do in Greenville, place to eat and places to see. Most interesting her spirit, her personality, her warm southern welcome was phenomenal!! She’s absolutely amazing and should definitely be the face of the hotel!! When we do return from Wisconsin we will definitely be back!! Next is Breslyn, Daryn, Keva, Ella and Kristy, the kindness and sweet southern hospitality that was given upon arrival by Tanika, they were the faces we saw and spoke with during the rest of our days there. Each one of them were very helpful, very knowledgeable about the area and various things to do around the Greenville area. These are the kinds of people you all want to have and keep on your staff!!! Lastly promote Keva to a supervisor over the house keeping staff please. Because she works very hard and she does an excellent job with keeping those rooms top notch!! Thanks to the entire staff, everyone was excellent!!

  Our rating is a such the hotel is conveniently located from the airport being that is how we arrived, and upon arrival and entering the Crowne Plaza the first thing we noticed was the pleasant smell. Tanika the the front desk agent was very pleasant, resourceful in suggesting things to check out while were here. We have never been to Greenville, SC and have enjoyed our visit also Darwyn the Bartender was amazing and very welcoming the staff overall has been amazing. Beautiful hotel, staff we will definitely come and stay again.

  I am writing to report a very disappointing and unprofessional experience that occurred during my son’s recent reservation. I made a reservation for him using my IHG employee discount, as I have done many times before. When my son arrived, the front desk informed him that he could not check in because I was not present, even though his name was correctly listed on the reservation. While I understand and respect IHG’s employee rate policies, I asked to speak with the manager to discuss the situation, but the staff refused to let me speak with her. The front desk agent was extremely disrespectful, and when I spoke with the assistant manager, he did not allow me to finish explaining the issue. After I mentioned that I would contact IHG, my son who also works for IHG property and his team—who were still in the lobby—overheard both the front desk agent and the assistant manager using profane and inappropriate language about me, the guest who made the reservation. My son recorded the incident. It is completely unprofessional and unacceptable for employees to speak that way about any guest, especially in front of other guests. To make matters worse, as my son was leaving, the front desk agent yelled at him, stating that I would still be charged for the night. This behavior reflects extremely poor customer service and is not at all consistent with IHG’s standards. I would appreciate a call from the general manager as soon as possible to discuss this incident. If I do not receive a response, I will escalate this matter to IHG Corporate and consider sharing the video publicly. Sincerely, Yazmin
