- GSG S3 days ago2.0Although I’m a Hilton Lifetime Diamond VIP Hilton Honors member, this was my first stay at a Tru by Hilton property. It may be that other “Trus” are better, but this one is not good. The King bed room was cramped, the bed uncomfortable, the bathroom poorly apportioned (e.g. “squeeze bottles” for the shower shampoo, etc. and for the bathroom sink, 2 towels for 2 people. Though I checked in using the app, my room was not feather-free as requested, and I had to go to the font desk for my waters (which defeats the goal of checking in via the app). The breakfast was weak: hard boiled eggs that couldn’t be properly shelled, a yogurt machine that served dessert frozen yogurt, bitter coffee, … in short, much worse than the Hampton Inn brand, and not up to Hilton standards, IMO.
