    "I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was truly exceptional, especially thanks to tyonia at the front desk—she was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with a great variety of flavorful options. The entire place was clean, comfortable, and really well-maintained. I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!"

    I had an amazing experience close to several attractions like Carowinds, south Charlotte, and the town of Kinsley in fort mill is a must. Friendly staff!! Lei went above and behind to make my stay the best. Thank you!!

    Rooms are nice but the AC shakes the entire room awake when it shuts down. 10 min of hot water in the shower only on both days. And the front desk agents seem to have different opinions and policies over how to charge for drinks. Have fun!

    Worst experience at a hotel EVER! I purposefully booked two rooms, one with two beds and the other with one. When I checked in, I was given two rooms that both had one bed. I double checked my confirmation to make sure the error was not on my part. When I verified that it was not, I went to the front desk to inquire, in a kind and non confrontational manner, about switching out one of the rooms for a double. What I was met with was a rude, condescending and unkind hotel representative that refused to even allow me to speak. She just kept insisting the error was on my part. When I got to one of my rooms, I found it to be unclean. I immediately called IHG corporate to see if I could get the situation rectified. They confirmed that my reservation was as I had stated and said that they would have someone from the executive level give me a call to find a way to remedy the situation within 5-10 minutes. That call never came. They did arrange to have my room cleaned, however. This was meant to be a fun getaway for my adult son, myself and a friend. It ended up being a stressful, uncomfortable night with little to no sleep. Compounding the room issues, they had a group of children in the facility that were up very late screaming, yelling and playing in the halls. I am an IHG rewards member but will never stay in another IHG facility after paying over $400 for no sleep and a very bad experience.

    I just wanted to let you know that the service provided at the front desk by Ms. Ellison was honestly the best I have ever received at any IHG hotel and frankly, her match has only been seen in high end hotels. She was pleasant and paid attention to every detail. She interacted with my children and made sure they had everything they needed. They will thrilled to be acknowledged and to become part of the check in process. She pointed every amenity out to us and their location. And most importantly she noticed we had four people on the reservation and knew that only three towels were in the room. So she made sure we had enough before we went to our room! I have never had this happen in any IHG property!! I always have to come back and get an extra towel, every time. Ms. Ellison shouldn’t be working a front desk. She should be operating at a corporate level training every single employee that has anything to do with customer service. If nobody has noticed how efficient and detail oriented this employee is, let this be the spotlight on her gift of hospitality! If I owned a hotel I would have poached her on the spot. Please, watch this employee. There is no way this is a fluke. She recited everything with practiced poise. Her posture is impeccable. Her tone was professional, experienced and wise. Her demeanor is that of a teacher that has seen it all. Yet, somehow still speaks to her students with respect and her undertones of assertiveness demands that you do the same. I could write a book about the five minutes I spent with her. It really was so out of the ordinary. So impressive. So elegant. That I have no doubt that every other hotel stay will be downhill from here. It even made me use incomplete sentences to punctuate how jaw dropping the whole experience was! Promote this employee now. She is too good to be at an avid property. Also the hotel was very clean and this is the best Avid hotel we have ever stayed in. This location redeemed the Avid name from my previous experience in a Florida location. Please consider putting microwaves in the rooms. That’s the only other suggestion I have.
