Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy — a great start and finish to the stay. Room Recently renovated and very clean. The bed was cozy and comfortable, with both firm and soft pillows — a thoughtful touch that made a real difference. Shower pressure was excellent, though a walk-in shower would’ve been preferred over the tub combo. Some leftover paint from renovations was visible but didn’t affect the experience. Breakfast Appreciated but could be improved. Orange juice was bitter and discolored, and the apple juice smelled off (thankfully replaced by the attentive hostess). Fresh oranges were delicious. Sausage gravy was flavorful, but omelets with green peppers weren’t our favorite — scrambled eggs might be a better option. The breakfast area was clean and well attended. Overall Experience A solid choice for a quick turnaround stay. Cozy beds and friendly service stood out. Breakfast could use a few tweaks, but the overall experience was pleasant and efficient.

The clerk told me that they had King suites, but that the cost would be substantially higher. I chose a room with two queen-sized beds. I then asked the clerk if a First Responders discount is offered, to which he replied, "No." Every other Holiday Inn Express gives me a discount for being a First Responder, so I have to wonder if this man has something against my profession. I certainly did not feel as welcomed here as I did in other Holday Inn Expresses. The beds were not as comfortable as others we've experienced in Holiday Inn Express motels and the drain to the sink wasn't working properly. On a good note, the building and room were clean and bright. Tje bed was horribly uncomfortable and we did not have a good night's sleep. Upon checking out, we were not asked how our stay was.
