  Only make Reservations by PHONE Directly with Hotel!! DO NOT EVER make reservations with a place called "REservation DEsk" on-line!!!... They are a SCAM!! They are NOT directly affiliated with Holiday Inn Express in ANY WAY!! #1: I was sent to wrong hotel. I Had to drive an extra 15miles in traffic from the wrong hotel to the right one... I had just been discharged 12/3 from the ER mere minutes b 4 arrival at the Wrong hotel... I am disabled and need 1st floor room with bathtub. WRong hotel had Not even given me correct room due to misguided information from the "Reservation Desk". #2 Once arriving at the Correct Hotel: Holiday Inn Express, Radio Dr, Florence, SC... SHARON, front desk Customer Svc Rep, IMmediately started to HELP guide me on how best Resolve my completely Nerve racking experience. She was not only patient and kind...but she was Caring about my Health and Needs!! She got me settled IMMEDIATELY into a room With a bathtub to clean myself from ER visit and help ease the severity of my pain!! The next day Sharon was there again thank the Gods... She took time while still satisfying all other customers completely with a huge Smile, to help me make phone calls (due to disabilities) between Holiday Inn and the stupid "reservation desk place" to get my 1st nites Horrible experience fully compensated BY this Reservation Desk place...NOT Wanting nor Expecting Holiday Inn to need to pay a dime!! She then confirmed all of my Holiday Inn Express VIP privileges and cancelled the other reservation, and made new reservations to her own personal hotel.... It was"flat hospital rate" so no additional fees/taxes were added to my cost in any way And I was now getting my VIP Cutomer points as well...yeah 🎉!! My Very Comfortable and Cared for stay was supposed to be from 12/4-12/6 with possibility of feeling well enough to travel home 1 1/2hrs to MB, SC by 12/5? And checking out in time to cancel 12/6 if possible?? #3 The morning of 12/5 round 9am, I wheeled (in wheelchair) myself to breakfast to enjoy food/drinks provided. The Very Very nice Attendant (I think was LISA?) in the breakfast kounge, on her OWN, offered to physically get ALL food and beverages I requested AND gave me bags for leftovers to take to my room🙂 Unfortunately by 11AM I got very ill again and was rushed to an Acute Care Facility then after was admitted into McLeod Hospital for an indefinite period of time...? #4 At this point there was a new front desk Customer Service Representative whose name is DERICK immediately took control and was willing and able to think ahead and verbally continue to communicate with us that we needed to extend our stay but we're uncertain for how long?? He said he would take it one day at a time if we needed to stay beyond checkout on Dec 6th and our "belongings" would remain safe!! He was very kind, caring, knowledgeable and helpful. Equal only to Sharon..... I was finally well enough to check out Sunday Dec 7at 12pm. Derick said his Very Caring g-byes to my husband and wished my health well! The Kindness & Caring Above and Beyond the required expectations from these employees, I can Never express enough Gratitude/Love I have for them as individuals and humans living in today's crazy, mixed up world!! PLEASE PLEASE stay as OFTEN as you can at: Holiday Inn Express Radio Drive Florence, SC YOU WILL NEVER GET BETTER CARE at ANY Other Hotel!! **All of my Drs/hospital care is located in Florence. I will most Definitely be coming back❤️ ----one tiny Complaint----- On Dec 7th I travelled to the breakfast area again. No Lisa🥲 The new ladies that were there were Absolutely Mean! There were Less than a handful of guests there and NONE watching TV! Yet it was Blaring Loud. For some reason the lady was holding onto remote. I politely asked "can it b turned down due 2 pounding migraine?". She stated "I need to keep volume up (in disgust), you are not the only guest". BOTH watched struggles w/drinks, now bagel. Asked "is there cream cheese?" Lady said "right here". "Can u walk it to me"? She said "I am Not a Waitress"

  Staff has always been helpful, we stay here 2-3 times a year. Convenient location to highway and restaurants. Breakfast buffet is not bad for free. I think it may be time to spruce the rooms up a bit, but still not bad. I like that it does not allow pets because of our severe allergies.

  I’ve got to tell you this is better than a two star hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the price was right. We searched for a halfway point from our location to home and Florence, SC was it. We’re not too familiar with the town but we’re familiar with the Holiday Inn brand. This location and hotel far exceeded expectations. And they did not skimp on their delicious breakfast. It definitely was not continental. Kudos to the chef and to the hotel management. Thank you.
