- LCLaura CharltonDec 31, 20251.0DO NOT STAY HERE. We attempted to and I was actually already asleep. My partner woke me up having just killed a bug on the bed and wanted to know if it was a bed bug. I said no way it's too big (I thought they were so tiny you could barely see them) we used google image and adult bed bug. We jumped out of bed I lifted the corner of the sheet and one more showed up. That was enough for us. We packed up went to The desk at 10:30 and told them we were leaving and showed them the pics. We also offered to go up with them and show them. They declined but couldn't refund us they had to send through to a manager. We left and paid for a room at a different hotel. Now it's 5 days later and they still won't refund. So just an fyi they don't see them there however we killed it right in the bed so hard to miss it and the blood stain. We are still grossed out. We had to pay for another room in a Hampton down the street which was much nicer. We stay in IHG a lot. Not anymore.

So sweet, upbeat attitude and very knowledgeable about the hotel. She was able to put me in a front facing room so I can crank my car in the mornings as well. Will always recommend this hotel to my business associates when they come into town as well!

I do want to single out a few individuals that have made my stays more enjoyable. LP at the check in desk at night has a great personality and is very welcoming. Taylor also at the front desk at night and the morning has remembered me by name and always has a positive demeanor. Donna at breakfast in the mornings has been super welcoming and makes sure everyone's day starts off right. Overall great experience and will be staying here anytime business takes me to Columbia.
